Eat only meals from there,don't order Fish fry/Fish curry.Suddenly you can see waiter/owner start playing with fish dishes.while you are eating meals he come with fry/curry and keep it in front of your meals and go to other table,he is pretending that he has kept the dish in front of your meals as he couldn't carry all dishes in his hand,then he will come back and check we are eating or not,many people get irritated with this activity and return the fish dish and forcefully he wants people to consume his fry/curry with meals.Many time people will call and ask to take back the fry which was not ordered .After that also he will repeat the same drama and he will take the fry and keep fish curry without the permission of customers.He is also charging very high for fish dishes both fry and curry,so for this play he will forcefully make people buy fish curry/fish fry along with meals.If you want to know his real character just order meals only without fish curry/fry ,then you can see this smart guy keeps on irritating till the end of your meals by keeping fish curry/fry without your permission or he will intentionally delay your side dishes which have to served along with meals for buying his fish curry.This behaviour has to be stopped guys,as this shop is located near court and many people with limited money come to eat lunch due to hunger and lack of time to visit other restaurants.The waiter/owner is utilising this situation for putting rates as per their wish by forcefully serving Fish fry/curry dishes to customers who come for eating lunch.His simple technique is to bill an amount of 200 Rs / person who come to have lunch.This should not be...

Disappointing Experience

I visited here for a take away lunch, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Upon arrival, the place was crowded, which I initially took as a good sign, but it quickly turned into a frustrating wait.

I ordered two meal parcels: one with fish fry and one with fish egg, along with tapioca. The lady at the counter was incredibly slow, and after asking about my order three times, she finally realized she had forgotten to send it to the kitchen. It took about 30 minutes for my order to be ready, which felt excessive given the circumstances.

When I got home and opened the parcels, I was disappointed to find that the curries were minimal. I received only sambar, buttermilk, and buttermilk curry, with no dal curry or fish curry included. The quantity of curry was also insufficient, making it quite challenging to finish the meals.

Overall, I expected a lot more from here, especially given the crowd. The slow service, missing items, and inadequate portions really detracted from the experience. I hope they can improve their service and consistency...

After seeing so many reviews and videos, I finally decided to try out this popular restaurant known for its fantastic fish dishes. As a die-hard fan of seafood, I was really excited to check it out.

The space is a bit conjusted, and it can get quite crowded, but I believe they have additional seating nearby to handle the rush. The restaurant is located in a busy area (Vanchiyoor Court), so parking can be hard, even for a two-wheeler.

I arrived around 2:30 PM, worried that I’d missed the fish dishes, but thankfully they were still available. I tried the Kanava Curry(Squid curry), Meen Mutta Fry (fish egg), and the regular fish fry. Let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious, some of the best fish dishes and fries I have had in Trivandrum. The highlight was definitely the masala they use. I also really enjoyed the pullissery.

The owner, Chetan, was very friendly and enthusiastic, offering great suggestions on what to try.

Overall, this place is definitely one of the best spots for lunch, especially if you’re a fish lover. Highly recommend...
