This is regarding the worst experience I had from Chaikaari on Thiruvonam day. I had prebooked Onasadya for 4 from Chaikaari through WhatsApp. The pickup was set from Mall of Travancore Chaikaari outlet @11.30am on 5/9/25. I reached there by 12 pm, to my surprise none of the staff there knew about this sadya program. They after enquiry at the main office told us that food is on the way and will be there in another 15min. We waited and after half an hour I called the number through which I had made the booking. The person assured that food is about to reach, which didn't happen for another half an hour. And my call was blocked by the Chaikaari team. Few other customers also had the same experience. Finally by 1.25 pm few parcel boxes with no label or marking or order number came which left the staff clueless regarding which box is to be given to whom. On opening the carton box we found all the parcel cans were literally dumped together with no banana leaves and few of the cans were not properly closed resulting in spillage. Worst kind of packing. After making us wait for more than an hour on Thiruvonam day this is the service that Chaikaari had delivered. The parcel was not at all in a condition that we could take that home. No phone calls were answered afterwards. The management was so irresponsible, we felt cheated after trusting them and paying a good amount of money. They literally exploited our helplessness. By that time we had no time to argue further than going home and prepare something to eat. But I had clearly denied and demanded a refund. The next day I got a message from them stating that a refund will be given, but didn't receive it till now. Never again going to Chaikaari. Worst service, highly...
Read moreI recently visited CHAIKKARI (vanchiyoor branch), after renovation. I can only say, I am very dissatisfied, and dissappointed in the service. I was one of the earliest customers, when there was only one outlet. When it first opened, it was supposed to support small scale women entrepreneurs. It was your entire brand. Now it is not at all the case. I have a few pointers, and incidents:
I feel the authenticity of your...
Read moreLocated within a convenient walking distance from both the court and the police station, Chaikaari is a charming little tea shop that offers a delightful culinary experience. The only drawback you might encounter is the limited parking, which often forces customers to park on the street due to its small size. However, don't let that deter you from stepping inside. The highlight of Chaikaari is undoubtedly the quality of their snacks and tea, which consistently maintains a high standard. During my visit, I decided to try their fried milk priced at just ₹28, and it was a delightful surprise. The crispy exterior gave way to a creamy and flavorful interior, making it a unique and yummy treat that I had never experienced before.Following the fried milk, I couldn't resist trying their chocolate brownie, priced at ₹60. With the very first bite, I was blown away by the rich, chocolatey goodness of the brownie. I couldn't help but wish for a scoop of vanilla ice cream to accompany it, though unfortunately, it wasn't available on the menu.To wash down these delectable treats, I opted for their blue tea, which was not only good but also refreshing, making it a perfect complement to the sweet indulgences. In summary, Chaikaari may be a small tea shop with parking challenges, but it's a hidden gem that excels in offering top-notch snacks and tea. If you visit, be sure to try their must-try items - the chocolate brownie and fried milk. You won't be disappointed by the taste and quality...
