Palooda Ice Creams and Pastries — Restaurant in Kerala

Hello Everyone,I am requesting everyone, if you need to get your orders on time please go for some good option. Never ever order from palooda kaloor branch, they will spoil our function like this I had a worst experience from Palooda Kaloor Branch yesterday (Nov 6th , 2021). I have placed an order for a customized birthday cake on october 19th , 2021 . The ordered cake was for Novemb 6th 10 am. Done multiple follow-ups with the staff regarding the cake customization. Even i have directly visited the branch on last week and reminded them. Because this was a very big function. I have reminded them again just one day before the function.We went to palooda on Nov 6th morning 10 am for collecting the order. They told the cake is on preparation and it will take another 10 mints to complete. We waited there for more than 10 mints. Then they told they will deliver the cake to our home, because the cake is somehow huge and it may get damgaged if we took it in our two-wheeler. They mentioned like they will deliver it through a car. We said okay and we returned. We waited until 2 hours, it was 12:15 pm. Cake was not delivered. Tried contacting them multiple times. After 10-15 attempts,they told cake is already dispatched for delivery and they said the delivery guy is not picking their call and they asked us to contact the delivery guy. We called him and he said the cake is still preparation and he is waiting outside the shop. The cake was ordered for 10 am..the function was at 11 am. And at 12:15 pm they are telling cake is under preparation. That is not informed by the palooda staff. The staff lied to us and the delivery person has informed us the actual reason. We didnt expected this from Palooda. Because of them, our function got delayed for another 2 hours. I am requesting everyone, if you need to get your orders on time please go for some good option. Never ever order from palooda, they will spoil our function like this. The cake cost was 4500 rs, they told they dont need money for the cake since its their fault. But i am ashamed of taking things for free. So i have paid 2500 bill which they have shared later after...

Very disappointing experience with Palooda team. We ordered a Dessert table cake for our child’s birthday, but the cake wasn’t up to our expectations. We had read a lot of positive reviews about Palooda on the internet and accordingly we thought about buying a custom cake from them for our child’s special day, but unfortunately the cake set was a complete disaster. The theme of the cake was Unicorn , but what we got was something resembling the character from the Vodaphone zoo zoo. The cupcakes received were completely messed up because of bad handling by the delivery guy and the lollipops were a tragedy, neither did it look anywhere similar to the unicorn theme nor did it taste good. Maybe we expected too much, we thought they are professionals, but we were wrong. We woudnt recommend the Palooda for custom cakes, their Chef may not be the best for it, definitely not in our case. It was a spoiled party for us. However, their staffs were very courteous to provide another cake or reduce the price, but that doesn’t make any difference for the damage done, hence we didn’t accept their counteroffer.
