Kattanum Puttum — Restaurant in Kerala

Stopped over for a quick bite. It definitely was a good choice. This place can accommodate around 25 to 30 people. The place is neat and clean. It is not an open kitchen, though you can see the kitchen behind the billing counter, which also is well maintained.

I ordered kappa (tapioca), puttu, parotta, beef curry and chicken 65. The food was served very quickly, probably in around 5 mins. The food was fresh and hot. The best was kappa, beef, and chicken 65. The beef was soft and well cooked, will almost melt in your mouth. The chicken 65 was crispy outside and juicy inside...loved it ❤️

To drink I had suleimani (only hot beverage available)...one of the best i've had 👍

They also serve variety of other chicken, mutton, and beef dishes...will drop in another day for that.

The staff are courteous. The pricing is pocket friendly. Parking is on the road side.

I have dined in with 7 people for dinner by 10 pm for dinner. I've ordered paal kappa ,nool porotta ,paal pidi ,beef curry ,beef fry and most importantly beef ribs curry or something special. If you come to this place don't ordered beef ribs curry ( vaayiyellu curry ) .its completely full of its fat and bones only. That was totally dissapointing for us because the majority bones and fat of that beef curry costs 280rs per plate and we've ordered to of them. Its completely unacceptable for this price. Spending this much money for bones and fat. And the quantity of all dish is very minimal for such a price.My god. If you guys are over pricing any dish make it worth the money. Such a disappointment and would never recommend this restaurant as a budget friendly restaurant. Even though it looks like a thattu kada and the pricing is like 4 star hotel ones. Please don't scam customers like this. Tottaly...

Best time time visit here is around 9 PM...And after having a heavy meal along with variety of chicken side dishes you must have a kattan Chaya(black tea) watching the vehicles pass by the highway... That's a Greaatt feeland pleasure.

You have porotta, appam, idiyappam, puttu, (I think biriyani is also there), nice pathiri on the menu as main course and the the speciality there is you have wide variety of chicken and beef side dish like chicken thoran, nadan chicken varatharachathu,beef idichathu, spring chicken, chicken porichathu(fry), etc etc etc a lot to mention.

Will never forget to mention the black tea and lime tea over there which is soooo tasty that I had 3 cups there.

You will get your ordered food in couple of minutes and the quality, taste and service are very good. It's up to mark.

Only Cons I Found was the quantity is too less...
