An Appalling Experience at Beatbox Kaloor – Shockingly Poor Service and Disrespectful Staff

I had a profoundly disappointing experience at Beatbox Kaloor, a place that, despite its hype from influencer marketing, fails miserably in providing basic hospitality and respect to its customers. I expected much more from a restaurant with a growing reputation, but what I encountered was utterly shocking.

Upon arriving, we had to wait 15 minutes before we could find a vacant seat. This was perfectly understandable in a busy establishment, so we waited patiently. However, after finally being seated and placing our order, the experience took a sharp turn for the worse. Roughly 10 minutes later, a staff member came over with an unexpectedly rude and dismissive attitude, ordering us to vacate our seats immediately. We were in complete disbelief – we had only just settled in and started to look forward to our meal.

The lack of basic courtesy and respect displayed by the staff left us feeling embarrassed and unwelcome. It was as if we, the paying customers, were an inconvenience to them. In an industry where hospitality and customer satisfaction are paramount, the behavior of the staff at Beatbox Kaloor was nothing short of shameful.

It’s unfortunate that a place which has managed to build up hype through influencer marketing has allowed itself to become so complacent with the basics. The restaurant may draw attention with social media promotions, but if it continues treating customers with such blatant disrespect, its reputation will certainly start to crumble.

To anyone considering visiting Beatbox Kaloor, beware of the poor service and disregard for customer satisfaction. No matter the hype, a restaurant that cannot prioritize respect and proper treatment of its guests is simply not worth visiting. I hope they reflect on this and take steps to improve, but as it stands, I cannot in good conscience recommend Beatbox...

During my latest visit, I had a very bad time experience. We asked for the bill first, as we needed to submit it for a refund, and also wanted to place an order for takeout. They said they couldn't combine the dine-in and takeout orders on the same bill and refused to give us the bill initially. The man at the billing counter was quite rude. He then said he could give us the takeout bill first and the dine-in bill after we finished our meal. We agreed, paid for the takeout order, and had our meal.

When we finished and got the dine-in bill, we paid it and went to collect our takeout. They asked us to wait for another 15 minutes even though we had placed the order before dining in. We waited for nearly 30 minutes to get our food initially and then had to wait again for the takeout. Finally, when we inquired about our takeout, they realized they had given it to someone else. We were extremely frustrated.

We had arrived at the restaurant at 9:45 PM and left at 11:50 PM due to all the delays. When we went to collect our takeout, the person at the counter asked for the bill again. We explained that we needed the bill for a refund, but the staff member, who was North Indian, didn't care and tore up the bill. We were very upset.

We then went back to the billing counter and explained the situation. After 30 minutes of arguing, they gave us a bill from the waste bucket with almost the same amount as the previous one.I will never visit this restaurant again.

If the service continues like this, I doubt they will stay open much longer. If the owner is reading this review, please advise your employees to change...
