This used to be our hangout space a while back.. but off lately it's been giving really bad bad experiences.. for more than twice when we called for reservation..they told us over the phone that no need to reserve tables are empty..u can just drop in.. first time , we went in..lots of tables were empty..but they kept reserverd signs on the tables.. this was during one of their live shows.. and they told us to sit at the back of the stage..(btw there's a cover charge for the live shows). So basically u pay and u enter.. and then they say sorry u have to sit at the back..first time around..I just adjusted.. and then slowly came to the front on seeing no one really accessed the tables that had the reserved signs on.. then thinking it's a one time thing I recommended the place to a friend..and the same thing happened to him.. and then I went there again..with a couple friends and the same thing happened.. The third time I decided to speak to the guys at the front..and since there were people at the entrance who heard me talking and said that they were also informed no need to book..they started asking questions too..thats when they gave us tables..and then we had an office get together.. and their staff was video recording our gathering..I dunno for what..anyways..Rocks and brews team.. u guys really need to step up.. I don't think I'll be going there again ! 😕 too sad they spoilt it with these...

Stepping into Rocks & Brews was like entering a dimly lit cavern, the music's thrum a faint echo in the vast space. Tables weren't empty, but navigating the shadows felt like an expedition. We settled in, hoping service would materialize from the gloom.
Five minutes passed. No friendly faces, no menus emerged from the fog. The only interaction was a passing waiter, who, when questioned about our unwelcomed solitude, simply replied, "We didn't see you there." In that shrouded space, with only slivers of light playing on the tables, how could they?
The ambiance, while aiming for mystery, instead choked the life out of the dining experience. The focus seemed to be on concealing, not welcoming, patrons. It felt like a stage set for those who preferred their libations under a cloak of darkness, not a place for a comfortable meal.
Frustrated and unserved, we eventually navigated back out, the music's rhythm no longer a siren song but a monotonous dirge. Rocks & Brews, with its potential for a vibrant dining experience, stumbled in the shadows. A brighter, more welcoming space, menus that weren't hidden treasures, and service that doesn't require spelunking to find – these are the notes needed to harmonize this discordant melody.
Until then, Rocks & Brews remains a dimly lit footnote, not a culinary chorus worth...
Read moreI loved this bar when I first visited it before Covid situation happening. Was really happy seeing such a bar in Kochi with good music and ambiance. Music was the major factor that attracted me to this bar, the most. I happen to travel to Kochi long after the lockdown and was very excited to finally hang out with my friends and jam with them to the music here. But they play EDM now to attract young crowd even though its not a dance bar. I saw the management Manhandling a guy for literally suggesting to play a rock song because they were there for the music and vibe just like me. I would suggest to remove the pictures of Classic Rock artists from their walls and better paste pictures of EDM artists. The manager especially is the most unprofessional guy I have ever seen in my entire life in my experience of visiting bars through out the world. Anyway this was my final visit to this bar and I'm sure nothing is gonna change or happen to them If i write a negative review but one thing is pretty sure that they lost a potential long term customer and also I'll suggest my friends and colleagues from all over the world who visits Kochi, to never ever go to this Bar and instead will recommend Mezzo, whose staff are professional and vibe is still better than here even though its...
