Smokin Shawai — Restaurant in Kerala

I actually visited the place out bcs a relative of mine suggested it. Since I went with my family, I figured it'd be good to try some of the burgers they had on their menu. I asked the waiter there for their recommendations since I was completely new and he recommended the Dominator and few others.

Starting off with the Dominator, for something that pricy, I was awfully disappointed. There was little to no bacon, the burger was pretty dry; either because there was not much sauce or the beef patty wasn't just juicy enough. I think for something listed as the most expensive burger in their menu and for something repeatedly recommended to customers, I think it's just not worth it. While I agree that the Commando Burger tasted decent, I've to point out that it also wasn't worth the price they listed it under. The crispy chicken patty was very thin comparatively to the bun they put it in between and I felt the contents such as the shredded lettuce and garden mix were either too little or missing. 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿, 𝗜 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘇𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲.

Overall, the ambience there being nice is actually debatable. It sort of felt congested with the seating arrangements and my time there was quite less to actually judge their hospitality. In the end, we were pretty disappointed as it was only natural to actually expect something genuine with what price and contents they listed...

Had been there for a late dinner. Ordered the Dominator, Black Jack, French fries, Chickpop and Virgin Mojito. Regarding the Dominator, its simply a great burger. The best part of their burgers are that every ingredient from the patty, the bacon and the buns are fresh and definitely look and taste great. The chickpop could be more uniform and flavorful. The costs are definitely on the higher side considering the portion size and could definitely be re-looked into, either by putting a more customer friendly price or a by increasing the portions. The restaurant although located at the East Fort junction has spacious and tastefully done interiors and of course, the service is great. There is definitely a crunch in parking space. For a person who has been a regular of places like the Kafs and Burger hubs, this place "Smokin Burg" is sure to wipe out the competition if they price things right. Overall a great new place for burgers in Thrissur and will definitely visit again. The Five Stars is for the refreshing taste of the food and the hope that the management prices their products more...

Tried after seeing the reviews online. But the food was really of very low quality in taste. Packaging was really neat and is charging very high for that as well, so better dine in as you can get a dish for the cost of packing charges.

Beef fire House burger was supposed to have double patty, didn't feel like it had a second patty. The patty was really dry inside out. Like a recent comment they need to really try out some other good burgers.

French fries was really good and for that the 2nd star. Coleslaw was too sweet and veggies were too big in it, may be their style, but I prefer tiny pieces of veggies.

Fried chicken was okay. Was perfectly crispy but need to improve a lot in flavour. It felt bland taste.

More importantly, bill board showing nice combos and when requested it was there to keep the bill boards on. Actual available items are on the paper menu. Having price difference of more than 40 % from bill boards and the paper menu felt like being overcharged. Please atleast replace the bill board menu...
