Navya Patisserie Thrissur — Restaurant in Kerala

This really is a great bakery, close to the only one of it's kind in Thrissur. I am a US citizen who moved to Thrissur in 2017, and one of the things I really missed was a place to buy western type baked goods. Navya's appearance a couple of years ago made a huge difference.

Their cakes and pastries are very good, sometimes exceptional. They are very reasonably priced; some of their items are cheaper than I could make on my own. Eg, the cheesecake, which is a legit US type cheesecake using expensive ingredients. There is no way I could buy cream cheese (or even make it myself) and make the same amount of cheesecake for the amount of money that they charge for their product, which is excellent.

Their pastry chef is clearly experienced in many different styles/regional specialties. One of the ways you can tell that someone knows that they are doing is their skill with items that seem (but are not) relatively simple, like the croissants and cinnamon buns at Navya. In both cases, the results are simultaneously perfectly flaky and tender, misleadingly simple items which require real technical skills, great ingredients, and a good head pastry chef, which this shop definitely has.

Definitely recommend for lots of reasons. Not for the occasional belt-loosening...

This is worth putting a review 💞 I had my son's first birthday celebration along with my parents wedding anniversary and being a perfectionist I wanted the perfect cake arrangement for them Navya Patisserie made my dream come true. I ordered 2 kg customised pineapple cake with roasted nuts overloaded & customised with name toppers and everything thing was beyond my expectation and they were mouthwatering & so fresh with best quality ingredients both the cakes were so soft and the frosting was so perfect everything in the cake was so perfect according to my choice the taste the theme the design flavours quality quantity overall 💯 No artificial flavours and premium quality 👌🏻 I asked that the cake should not be over cream and it was taken care of This was my first experience where I did not worry about how the cake would turn out to be I would highly recommend them for any events small or big they truly make it worth it and these cakes were the talk of the town for our celebration 🎉 Thanks you so much chef who care each and every details and well arranged in a precise manner 🙏🏻 Truly appreciate all the efforts gone behind the scenes 💞💞💞💞 Kudos to the entire team👏🏻🙏🏻 Lots of Love...

Extremely arrogant, rude, uncourteous and insensitive staff/management. My 6 year old daughter wanted a particular pastry, but it was available only at Navya Patisserie, it wasn't there in Navya Z'st Bistro (Patisserie and Z'st Bistro are literally seperated by a door). So we bought it from the Patisserie and then went to Z'st Bistro as my wife wanted to eat spring rolls from there. While waiting for spring rolls, my 6 year old wanted to eat her pastry as she was badly craving for it. Z'st Bistro waiter and manager denied the same stating Navya Management policy of not allowing food from Patisserie or Kokki in Z'st Bistro. What annoyed us is the fact that Z'st Bistro also serves pastry and what my daughter wanted to have was also a pastry from the same kitchen (just that it is bought next door). She was not trying to eat any alien food. Well, technically they upheld their policy, but it was an extremely poor experience for me and my family. @Navya management- It is an experience industry, today you have alienated 4 of us, tomorrow it could be many more. Arrogance and insensitivity is not good in experience...
