Subway Kakkanad Kochi — Restaurant in Kerala

I recently visited Subway Kakkanad with a friend, and overall, it was a decent experience. The outlet is located on the first floor, and while it’s easy to find, we did notice that some construction or renovation work was going on in the area. It didn’t cause too much disturbance, but it’s worth mentioning for those planning a visit soon.

On the plus side, parking was available, which made things convenient, especially in a busy area like Kakkanad. The staff at the counter were polite and took the time to go through the menu options, helping us customize our subs just the way we wanted.

The food quality was good, consistent with what you’d expect from Subway. The vegetables were fresh, the bread was soft, and the sauces were balanced well. Everything was neatly prepared and served quickly. The place had a few seating options, and though not very spacious, it was clean and functional.

This Kakanadu Subway deserves no star at all. Food was yes, delicious as always. They kept their standards. Five stars of course. But please properly manage the cleanliness of the Subway outlet. Do take note of my sincere comment : during this pandemic season we are just starting to come out to restaurants. In this situation utmost care must be taken. As an avid fan of the subway chain and someone who still regularly orders from there, My dinner last night at Subway kakkanad was very uncomfortable. From lack of drinking water to the hot stuffy air inside the store, it felt like a store meant only for takeaway which actively discouraged me to Dine in. This along with the lackluster service of overworked employees, who actually went on to ignore the fact they had customers standing at the counter without even a greeting, to prepare online orders, is the primary reasoning for this somewhat negative review today.
