I recently had the misfortune of dining at Swami's Aryabhavan, and my experience was nothing short of disappointing. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that customer service was not a priority for this establishment. The staff were remarkably inattentive and seemed more interested in chatting among themselves than attending to the needs of their customers.
Upon being seated, we waited an unreasonably long time just to have our orders taken. Despite several attempts to catch the attention of the waitstaff, we were largely ignored. When a server finally approached, they were curt and seemed rushed, giving us the impression that our presence was more of an inconvenience than anything else.
The true disappointment, however, came with the food. We ordered a variety of dishes, hoping to get a taste of the restaurant's offerings, but each dish was more underwhelming than the last. The flavors were flat and uninspired, and the freshness of the ingredients was questionable. The curries were watery and lacked the robust taste that one would expect, while the breads were stale and unappealing. Even the simplest of dishes failed to meet basic standards of taste and quality.
Furthermore, the presentation of the food left much to be desired. The dishes looked hastily thrown together, without any attention to detail or care. This lack of effort in both taste and presentation was incredibly disappointing, especially for a restaurant that markets itself as a noteworthy dining establishment.
In addition to the poor service and subpar food, the overall ambiance of the restaurant was lacking. The dining area was not particularly clean, and the atmosphere felt chaotic and disorganized. This only added to the unpleasantness of the experience.
In summary, Swami's Aryabhavan failed to deliver on even the most fundamental aspects of dining: good service and good food. The inattentive staff and the poorly prepared dishes made for a thoroughly unsatisfactory experience. I would strongly advise anyone considering this restaurant to look elsewhere for a meal. There are plenty of other dining options available that offer better service, better food, and a more enjoyable dining...

This is a pure vegetarian restaurant and you will have plenty of options. For the lunch "Kerala Lunch Meal - Sadya" is the must try. They will provide full meals. Even if you need more rice , you don't have to pay extra. They will come at least 4-5 times for sambar / rasam options.
If you want to taste the authentic Kerala vegetarian food, this is one of the best restaurant which...
Read moreIf you are looking for traditional vegetarian Kerala food for lunch and dinner, there couldn't be any better option than this especially in the whole locality.
I've been visiting Wayanad and other parts of Kerala for quite some time but never had such a perfect Saadhya the whole time.
I had lunch here, they served around 20-24 dishes on one full meal. They had the option of both Kerala Rice & White rice which I really appreciate. The taste of each dish was distinctive and delicious. The whole meal was a festival of flavours. I thoroughly enjoyed every item they served and at the end it didn't even feel heavy on my stomach. I was really satisfied with the menu selection.
There is nothing much in terms of Ambience. It has a few decent table setups which can host up to 60-70 people at a time. It can get crowded easily during peak hours on weekends and holiday season.
The service was good, though I was single, they assigned me a table & served the meal quickly and kept attending to me for refills. Indeed impressive!
Toilets & Handwashing areas were hygienic, the whole restaurant was maintained neatly. They accept UPI payments.
I highly recommend this place for a great vegetarian meal for all kinds of...
