TBX — Restaurant in Kerala

I was visiting Trivandrum for a couple of days and ended up staying at Hycinth. I chose to go to TBX in the evening to chill with some friends. Hence, my review is like a comparison to some of the high-end pubs in other cities (eg: Bangalore):

Their service is faster compared to other places I've been to. I was legit happy with this aspect of the experience. Their drinks are quite pricey (as expected from high-end places). We only had some whiskey on the rocks. Haven't tried their cocktails. The food is decent. They offer complimentary chakhna to go with your drinks (which was a nice touch). We also ordered some starters which were good. The music is annoying / weird: They kept playing one song on repeat throughout our two hour session (ended up giving me a headache 😣). TBX is the bar inside the Hycinth Hotel. It started off as a bar exchange concept but soon stopped the same. The bar is quite huge and very luxurious with an adjoining open smoking area. They have a wide variety of collection of drinks including good brands of foreign liquor. Their food is good but quality is too low for the price. Drinks are priced higher than normal 5 star bar prices. The experience was so bad. Never visiting ever again.. the bar manager jayanth or something behaved like he's paying for our expense...the bar manager was even reluctant to even serve like we're asking for something free....such bad experience...he claimed that he wouldnt serve anymore beer even when asked for a parcel since its 1045 although even govt have issued circulars regarding the same to be issued until 11pm...very bad behaviour like he owns the bar..cant even communicate properly ... never expected such kind of hospitality from a 5star...
