A pretty long review, but kindly read the whole thing so you get a complete understanding of how a restaurant that isn’t customer oriented works these days.
I just ordered food worth 759 on their website (including tax and all other charges mentioned on the site). The delivery boy who came here said that I have to pay for delivery if the location is over 6Km. I checked on google maps and it wasn’t over 6Km. I contacted the restaurant and they said it’s their rule or something. I found it shocking how pathetic their whole service was. I told them I won’t pay the delivery charge and they took back the food.
I too work in the food industry and I love a good meal. Every single good restaurants I’ve been to or ordered from treats the customers with respect and be fair to them. A customer has every right to know the right of what they are purchasing at the time of order, including the cost. A restaurant has no right to accept an order, bring it for delivery, assuring the customer a certain payment and then changing it completely during the delivery process. The extra charge (30Rs, for which they say is for orders over 6Km, although in my case it wasn’t over 6Km) is truly not my issue here. It’s about principle.
I assure you, you can order from many other places that truly would appreciate your order and handle it right. Order accepted at 2:19, tried to deliver it by 3:13, the delivery boy took back the order by 3:15. My kind request to everyone is stay clear of these people. No food is worth wasting an hour of your time to solely be told over what their rule is and how we should pay over what we were told to initially. Thanks for...
Read moreAasife Biryani offered a delightful culinary experience with their Mutton Mughalai Biryani and Chicken 65. Nestled in a cozy corner, the restaurant exuded warmth from the moment we stepped in.
The Mutton Mughalai Biryani was a standout. Tender pieces of mutton were perfectly cooked, infused with rich spices that complemented the fragrant basmati rice. Each bite was a symphony of flavors, with a hint of saffron adding a luxurious touch. The balance of spices was impeccable, not overpowering the natural taste of the meat but enhancing it harmoniously.
Equally impressive was the Chicken 65, a popular South Indian appetizer known for its spicy and tangy flavors. The chicken pieces were tender on the inside and crispy on the outside, coated in a fiery red marinade that left a lingering zest on the palate. It was a perfect accompaniment to the biryani, adding a contrasting texture and flavor profile.
The service at Aasife Biryani was commendable. The staff were attentive and courteous, ensuring that our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. The ambiance was pleasant, with tasteful decor and comfortable seating, making it an ideal spot for a casual meal or a gathering with friends and family.
Overall, Aasife Biryani exceeded expectations with its flavorsome dishes and excellent service. It's a place I would highly recommend for anyone craving authentic biryani and delicious South Indian fare in a...
Read morethe biryani is especially good. i normally prefer mutton biryani at any joints because of the softer meat but here, they add ghee to biryani and i felt that chicken biryani mixed with the ghee is just amazing. the mutton biryani is a bit fattier and tends to make you feel fuller so I actually didn't prefer it that much to the chicken biryani as much as I normally do. I have tried some other things like starters, soups, they are good but one issue is that normally more than half the menu wil not be available especially during the afternoon hours. I don't know abouy evening or night hours as I have to go back to my college by 10 which is about 20 kms away from thampanoor. the beverages (i have tried the lime juice and mint lime juice) are okay. they don't generally add ice which hurts the freshness of the cool drinks and generally don't serve with soda (disappointed fresh lime soda fans) as I never got to order it. If you want to go there, go for the chicken biryani, the highlight of the restaurant, which is actually really good and better than most other joints. i prefer it quite a bit to even Azad near thampanoor. but anything else, I would suggest going...
