It was an Ok Ok experience, I tried to book it directly but the boy at reservation told me that they are sold out on the requested date due to election and asked me to book at horizon hotel which is situated across the road but when i check OTA's, the rooms were available, i called them again to clarify it but they said there are some errors and are sold out.
The very next morning i was searching for hotels in the same area, i saw this hotel again and i booked the room through agoda but when i called the reception to reconfirm my booking, the boy said please bring the voucher as they haven't received any mail from agoda, i was bit worried as election work is going on and it may be too busy and i have already paid 🤦🏻♂️so i have started calling them every day to reconfirm my booking and they have the same reply 'no mail received yet' 🤦🏻♂️
Easily can walk to the hotel as it is located too close to trivandrum central railway and bus station which is very convenient but same time a disadvantage too.
Finally on my arrival, check in took more than 20 minutes due to the same and i sent my voucher received from agoda to their WhatsApp number as still there was no reservation 🤦🏻♂️.
When we entered the hotel we understood that it is a renovated old building, no lights in the lobby, nobody assists you to the room, finally when we entered the room and took almost 15 minutes to find out where to place the key tag for power 😝😡
The room was so suffocating, Bed Linens were old but clean, Pillows were not clean, Too old bathroom and cheap amenities used still there was clean face, hand and bath towels 😍
A Bigger TV, Tea Coffee Kettle and Minibar was available.
Breakfast was a buffet, limited menu only, starting at 7:00am, we had lunch and dinner too The food was average, too spicy always even after several requests as service or kitchen people don't understand less spicy food 🤦🏻♂️ it's irritating but they call back and reconfirm the request and will give you same spicy food again and again 🤣 tried almost every non veg dish and the only thing less spicy found was Golden Fried Prawns 😍 Quantity and Quality be Improved.
Front Desk and Service staff need to be trained on how to interact with the guests.
The room is not so quiet as you can hear people talking in the corridor, The fan was noisy, you can hear vehicles every time.

Talking to the receptionist and the manager is like dealing with children. Neither have any manners, lack patience, are rude as hell and don't even know half of what is going on in the hotel. The receptionist wasn't even aware what kind of room we had booked and insisted on giving us a NON AC ROOM even though we had booked an AC ROOM. There IS NO FOOD/BREAKFAST/DINNER. On booking sites it may be said that you could pay 100 rupees for breakfast but that is A LIE AND THE RECEPTION WILL LET YOU KNOW THAT IF YOU ASK FOR BREAKFAST VERY RUDELY. The washroom is filthy and the bedsheet and blankets are old and worn out. There is NO HOT water only LUKEWARM and even that isnt a continous flow and it keeps convulsing . IT IS BETTER TO TRAVEL 10 TO 15 KM TO A BETTER HOTEL THAN TO BOOK HERE JUST BECAUSE OF LOCATION. A huge waste of cash. This is a horrible hotel and the people working here...

The rooms are well-maintained and good, but the service was extremely poor. We stayed here on the 12th and 13th, and when I asked to book a non-AC room, the receptionist was the reason for my dissatisfaction.
First, she said there were no non-AC rooms available. When I showed her that they were clearly available online, she suddenly changed her response and said, “Yes, we have it, but we will remove everything from the room and give it to you,” while showing complete attitude.
Even though we pay money for both the room and the service, the way she greeted and treated us was pathetic and totally unprofessional.
Whenever I asked for coffee sachets or basic service, she responded with 🤷♂️ gestures and said, “It’s non-AC, sir, you won’t get.”
