We had some expectations about this place but everything was in vain. Only the Kushka rice was justice to the price charged. This was the first time we visited the place and didnt knew about the dips and side dishes with the Kebab platter so when they just served the dish we thought ok may be this is the only restaurant in kerala that doesnt give you complementary dips or bit of veggies. The starters Honey chilli wings was the smallest wings I ever had in restaurants. Please dont order the baby butter naan as it tasted similar to kerala style kuboos such a waste of money. Since there was kids among us we asked for a creamy chicken curry and they suggested Chicken Amritsari it was very spicy and tasted similar to kottayam fish curry , may be our taste buds issues . We also ordered Jalapeno hummus which they forgot and brought it when all our main course was done and thankfully they didnt billed us for the same. The other flop one was the saffron mandi rice it was just like normal biriyani rice which we could get near the railwaystation.
Finally when they asked for a feedback all these things were mentioned and they said dips and salads are supposed to be served and they forgot.
The ambience was nice and good place to be with family. I will never try the place again and spend hard earned money...

The interior features Bohemian-style paintings and has a warm, peaceful undertone. Although I had heard the restaurant can be crowded, we arrived at 12:30 p.m., right at opening time, and there were only three groups, including us.
We ordered the Grilled Veal Chops (₹349), Saffron Rice (₹130), and Peri Peri Wings (₹260). The veal chops, which included two pieces, were well-grilled but not as spicy as I had anticipated. I expected more spice based on the photos, but it was quite mild. The dish came with mashed potatoes and two dips. Overall, it was good but didn't quite live up to the hype.
The saffron rice was aromatic and flavorful, with a slightly earthy and spiced taste, reminiscent of mandi rice. The peri peri wings, though slightly spicy and enjoyable, took a long time to arrive, which was the main drawback of the meal.
In total, the meal cost ₹776. If you're curious about trying veal chops, it’s worth a visit. The place is also quite...
Read moreDining at Grillax Restaurant was a delightful experience with a few minor hiccups. Both peri peri and honey chilly lollipops were good, offering a good start to our meal. The veal chops were the highlight, cooked to perfection with flavors that danced on the palate. Unfortunately, the Iranian tikka beef was a letdown, being overcooked and chewy, which was not what we expected from such a renowned dish. The chicken kabobs were decent, bit chewy.
The portion sizes were on the smaller side, which was a bit disappointing for the price. However, the service was impeccable; the staff was attentive and made us feel well-taken care of throughout our visit. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very cozy, creating a warm and inviting ambiance that complemented the meal.
In summary, Grillax Restaurant offers a mostly satisfying dining experience with exceptional service and a cozy atmosphere. A tweak in the portion sizes and a bit more attention to the grilling time, and I'm sure it will be nothing short...
