Topform Restaurant — Restaurant in Kerala

When I was planning my trip to Kozhikode, Topform Restaurant was one of the spots on my must-visit list, thanks to a recommendation from a colleague. They have multiple branches, and since one is located near Lulu Mall, we decided to stop by on our way back.

When we arrived, there were a few tables available, and the staff quickly arranged a table for six. We started ordering, and the person taking our order suggested some special dishes like Alleppey Chicken Curry and Chicken Chukka. We went with the Alleppey Chicken Curry, along with Kerala Porotta, Roti, Butter Roti, Appam, Chicken Kurma, and Chicken Fry. Unfortunately, Neypathal and Pathiri weren’t available.

The food was served quickly, and every dish was delicious. I especially want to mention the Alleppey Chicken Curry – it was outstanding! It’s funny because I’m from South Kerala, and I came to North Kerala to try a South Kerala dish, but it was absolutely worth it. The curry was so flavorful that I wanted to thank the chef personally. The other dishes were also great, and the Lime Tea we ordered at the end was the perfect finish to the meal.

The service was another highlight. Like many restaurants in Kozhikode, the staff here were friendly, polite, and attentive. They checked on us regularly, offered recommendations, and made sure we had everything we needed.

It's a must-visit if you’re looking for a great dining experience with family or friends. The food, service, and ambiance make it a perfect spot for a delicious meal....

Absolutely unacceptable experience – especially for a pregnant woman!

We had a very disappointing and disturbing experience at Topform. My wife, who is pregnant, ordered a chicken biriyani — and shockingly, the chicken was half-cooked. It was clearly undercooked and not safe for consumption.

This is not just about bad taste or poor service — this is about basic food safety and hygiene. Serving raw or undercooked chicken can lead to serious health issues, and doing this to a pregnant woman is beyond careless. We expected a minimum standard of quality from such a well-known restaurant, but this was a complete failure.

We are extremely upset and disappointed. I strongly urge the restaurant to take food safety seriously and ensure this never happens again to anyone.

For others reading this — please avoid this place, especially if you’re dining with children, elders, or expecting mothers. Health should never be compromised for the sake...

I had a very disappointing experience here. Just because a restaurant has an established name doesn’t give them the right to treat customers poorly.

I visited with my family for dinner. It was busy, and they informed us there would be a 20-minute wait, which I accepted patiently. But to my surprise, they gave a table to another family who arrived after us. When I questioned them politely, instead of handling the situation with courtesy, the staff started arguing.

This is Calicut — a city full of amazing, authentic food spots. Customers have choices, and attitude matters as much as taste.

No matter how delicious your menu may be, bad service will leave a bitter taste. It’s time for the management to rethink their priorities — because a brand is built by customers, and destroyed...
