Heard about this place from the many food bloggers that Kochi has been cursed with these days... this place is sooooo overhyped. I heard one food blogger who claims he does not do paid promotions saying the valentine's day feast is so good that even people who are not couples must also try it out. We visited on valentine's day and had the "Feast(LOL) of Love".
God!! It was absolutely horrendous. One plate of salad was served and it comprised of a handful of leaves on a plate. Dontbget me wrong, we know about the fine dining culture abroad where the quality if the food served could make up for the quantity, but couldn't say the same about this place. The salad leaves were wilted, with a measly 3 pieces of poached shrimp, not sure what seasoning they had in it but it definitely couldnt do anything to make up for the blandness. The welcome drink was just soda added to grape juice, not even properly sweetened and given a fancy name. When we dined, the fancy glasses were all used up so they served it in a normal glass which was sad since serving it properly could atleast make it visually pleasing. The appetizer was again some chicken dish with a fancy name and a couple was given just one plate of starters with 3 pieces. Not sure what the logic behind this is, as the feast was supposed to be for a couple. Again, didnt even taste as good as KFC, and by the time the appetizers were served, we were sure we made the wrong choice in choosing this place. The almond trifle something soup again tasted like plain white sauce, lacking in flavour, but the garlic bread with it was the only redeeming thing about the dish. The main dish atleast was served in 2 plates, we ordered one chicken and the other beef. The chicken tasted like it was coated with some sort of sauce coated with maggie chicken cubes and it was supposed to be a chicken "thigh" dish, so basically just bones with a little bit of flesh. The beef was again 3 pieces, which was slightly better than the chicken, but that doesnt mean it was anything extra ordinary. The desserts were the only relatively satisfying thing about the entire experience. The chocoltae deccadence was good and the strawberry ones were satisfactory, but nothing special. Again all with fancy names but nothing special about them. The lime "mojito" we ordered additionally was just soda lime juice with a slice of lemon it it, again not sweetened enough. Uffff... Dont get me started on the service time. All the people were waiting forever to be served with dishes from each course, it took us almost 2 hours to get all the dishes served. Will never recommend this...

Revisited after more than 1 year. Bumped up a star thanks to increased portion sizes & offers.
We reserved an offer on swiggy dineout which gave us 50% discount on set menus. There are 3 set menus (Soup, Pasta, Drink or Chicken wings/Burger/Drink or Veg option).
Each set is around 900, after discount you'll end up paying around 450 Rs per set. Which is fantastic value for money. Got a Dip Pan Pizza separately which was a bit blander than last time. The soup, chicken wings, pasta and burger were splendid. There was pleasantly a generous portion of sauce & chicken in the pasta dish.
The drink in all the set menu is called "Summer Fizz" which ironically had no Fizz in it (Just Cucumber & Mint Juice). Would request you to consider changing the name or add fizz to the drink.
Staff were jovial and helpful, service was quick and ambience was well crafted and quiet.
Review March 2022 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ -
One of those places where the ambience and service are at par with the food. The menu isn't dramatic, don't expect huge variety. However, the freshness & simplicity of the dishes is a welcome change compared to other places.
We had the cream cheese pasta, chicken club burger and a dip style pizza. The burger was good, nothing mind blowing, do not expect the usual sloppy wet mess that you get at other places for a 300 rs burger. The pasta was light & had a pleasant toasted garlic aftertaste. Overall, we felt the food doesn't leave you stuffed, but quite adequately fed. The staff were very attentive, water arrived at our table the moment we sat, dishes were patiently explained & they made it a point to open the door for every customer who exited. Small...
Read moreI recently dined at Westleys Resto Café and had a delightful experience. I ordered a pizza and the creamy mushroom soup, and both dishes exceeded my expectations.
The pizza was outstanding. The crust was perfectly crisp on the outside yet soft and airy on the inside. Each bite was a harmonious blend of fresh, high-quality ingredients. The toppings were generous and flavorful, with the right balance of cheese, sauce, and meats/veggies. It was clear that great care was taken in selecting and preparing the ingredients, which made the pizza truly stand out.
The creamy mushroom soup was equally impressive. It had a rich, smooth texture and a deep, earthy flavor that was both comforting and satisfying. The mushrooms were cooked to perfection, adding a wonderful depth to the soup. It was seasoned just right, with a hint of garlic and herbs that complemented the mushrooms beautifully.
The ambiance at Westleys Resto Café added to the experience. The décor is cozy and inviting, with a modern yet homely feel. The staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient, ensuring that we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
Overall, my visit to Westleys Resto Café was fantastic. Both the pizza and the creamy mushroom soup were delicious, made with fresh and high-quality ingredients. The warm atmosphere and excellent service made the dining experience even better. I highly recommend Westleys Resto Café to anyone looking for a great meal in a comfortable setting. I will definitely be returning to try more of their...
