This place has been the same for years..eversince i first visited as a kid. Its an eatery with only the basic necessities and people from all class visit this place. Dont expect privacy, luxury seating, ac or any such amenities. This place has a different aura...essence of the Malgudi days kind.. wooden benches, fresh food, continuous refills of sambar and chutney, constant sizzling sound and smell of fresh dosas. Its a nostalgic place. They r not o Zomato nor on Swiggy... this place has nostalgia... school kids with parents, salesmen after a tiring work day in groups, daily wage workers, dosa lovers, couples with limited resources, college buddies and so much more... this place tells stories along with great food. The eatery has been a pretty old place and has maintained it's quality of food till date. The dosas are a must have and what is unique about this place is that it has no collaboration with food delivery apps because it believes in bringing food to the table with the nostalgia. Read moreThis restaurant is nearby my house. We go here very often. Their South Indian food used to be very good especially Dosa and Dahi Vada. I never thought I will write this but sadly, recently their quality of food has degraded very much. I have last visited there in August 2024 with my Mother. We have ordered our favourites as usual, Masala Dosa and Dahi Vada. The coconut chutney served to my mother contained small stone kind of thing which she didn't notice and it went badly inside her tooth which now needs to cured by a dentist. The Dahi Vada served to me also contained hair which is very very unhygienic. I will now think a thousand times before visiting this place and will try to avoid this...
