After seeing the place standing the test of time for more than 30years, finally made a visit. Small place for dining, they have a separate takeaway counter for quick bites like rolls. In the afternoon time, they serve typical bengali meals wil rice, dal, veggies, fish, mutton etc. Evening time is for relatively fancy items like chowmein, fried rice and variety of fried items. I went in the evening time to try some dishes which are slowly becoming extinct from Kolkata food canvas. Tried the Fish Kabiraji and Chicken Moghlai Paratha. Food was good given the price. Both the items are priced at Rs.100. Food was satisfying as filling in the Kabiraji and Moghlai Paratha was sufficient (it is not like a humble deep fried thing because it is cheap). It's a small Cabin type restaurant on Fern Road, it's just beside the Khosla Electronics. This place has 5-6 tables I guess, 12-15 person at once can sit inside. Food here wasn't good at quality as per the price. I ordered a Chicken Mughlai Paratha, costed 120rs. & One cold drink costed 20rs., my total bill was of 140rs. Food tasted decent. Service was good & quick. I visited here on a Saturday, and usually this place is not so crowded. So, if you don't have much budget you can definitely visit this restaurant, but if you are too concerned about the quality then I would suggest you to find other places. Came here on 27th Jan 2023, the day after Saraswati Puja and Republic Day. It was not a hot day but neither a cold one, but it was quite hot in here.

Ordered a Chicken Mughlai Paratha and they served it in 10 mins. I've had this in my childhood too. It was lovely. Very different from the ones in other shops, a different taste altogether and I loved it. The quantity was good as well. Very good quality too and a good amount of filling.
