Café Coffee Day — Restaurant in Kolkata

After having a tiring day, I came to spend a good time with my mother at the Sarkar Sarani Gariahat branch of Kolkata. I ordered one Classic Hot Fudge, for which they provided only one steel spoon. I requested them to give me one more spoon, for which they gave me one wooden spoon. I requested to give me a steel spoon. They said that during Durga Puja, they don't provide extra steel spoon, only one steel spoon for one food item. Their behaviour was rude from the very beginning. So I asked them to show me in writing whatever is the procedure there. They told me very rudely that nothing is written. One of the waters Sitesh in particular was extremely rude for no reason. He said to me "Do whatever you want, you will not get anything. I think you have come here to only argue. You will not get anything else." Then I was talking to one of the female staffs, Sitesh told her "Don't talk to the customer anymore, she will not get anything else."

And after this also, for every word for every single thing, their behaviour was very bad, it seems they have not received any training on how to talk to customers. Today I have been through 4 cafes and restaurants. But for the first time I am getting this kind of behaviour from a waiter.

The coffee shop can have its own rules regarding the spoons and everything, but this is not at all the correct way to behave with a customer. It seems they take personal grudge against customers. This is not...

Worst service over the counter by the guy who was attending me at 4:30 pm today evening on 12th September. I asked for a cold coffee at the same time my mom went to use the washroom. I asked the guy to prepare me the coffee and I will order more once my mother comes back and I was also expecting my sister later. He told me to go and take a seat and order everything at once. I asked to at least serve me one coffee which I asked for and then they can ask drinks of their choice once they arrive. He told me that we have a target of minimum order and he prefers to take all order at once, so I can’t order one drink right away. I was upset with his behavior and he noticed, then he asked me to download ccd app and order from their with 5% discount which would be better for me. I was not looking for discount but just a cup of coffee to feel better at that time which was overlooked. A lady next to me also reiterated to the server that just serve him one coffee now and then take the other orders later. He did not listen. Which was very rude of this person. I have never experienced this kind of ill hospitality in Kolkata ccd before where their own rules are kept before their customer’s request. Highly disappointing service. Hi, I visited CCD Ekdalia Kolkata about two weeks back. Treatment given by a lady staff Rupa Sarka was so bad that never will I visit CCD again in my life or buy a CCD product. It took me two weeks because did not want to relive the worst experience at my once upon a time favourite coffee shop.

Rupa Sarkar refused to clear the table because she said staff is not there. After five minutes, when I went to place the order, she said very rudely- 'Go Now, I am busy.'

I was expereincing unpleasant experience with Rupa Sarkar in previous ocassion also but this time all limits were crossed.

I never thought that experince at a coffee shop can be so traumatic.

Having a bad coffee is not any isssue, but such treatment in this industry, I have never seen in my life.

CCD, this is really unbelievable, a serious introspection is needed with a staff like Rupa Sarkar.

I cannot believe that in today's time when there is a coffee shop in every lane, that CCD can hire a person like Rupa Sarakar.

Will never see the face of CCD after the incident with Rupa Sarkar at Ekdalia...
