Flury's — Restaurant in Kolkata

My love for Flurys goes back to my 1st Birthday and the day I got to know that there are tastier food than the mash Ma used to feed me. Flurys, are what dreams are made of. The food in its flagship store was to die for. After, I left Kolkata it was a ritual to go and pay a visit at Flurys Park Street for breakfast or my favourite evening tea. My my my the was delicious and sumptuous always. I got to know one fine day that Flurys have finally opened up in my locality. It is just like a dream come true. I really don't have to travel all the way to Park Street for a treat, what fun it would be to grab something of my liking without travelling the distance or fighting for a parking space. Finally, today I played them a visit. The food is as amazing as it always is. The decor is quaint. The staffs exceptionally courteous. Location is too good. The only thing, I wish they could do something about, is make the glass panes in such a way that the people passing by don't crane their neck to see what is...

Very disappointed. Have been to the Gariahat and Park Street outlets of Flurys and this is.. just???? So subpar???? None of the items on the menu were available and the ones on display tasted so bland. I'm sure atleast the quality of the counter foods can be improved! They didn't have a single item except the ones on display! Please try not to go here, if you're reading this review! Service was average, nth remarkable but the lack of menu items was not smth expected from a place like Flurys! Also hygiene of the place has to be improved. Please take this as a request to install windows that are not transparent from both sides or tinted glass, because this outlet is located in a busy local area and a stopping place for many rickshaws and autos, and people often tend to stare inside curiously as they...

Great place with a lot of history and English authentic breakfast. One of the oldest and authentic places. The pocket pinch, as one would imagine is on the higher side but if you consider the legacy and ambience it is quite reasonable. Do not forget to taste the red velvet cake and scrambled eggs over bread which are one of the best you can ever have.
