Flury's — Restaurant in Kolkata

Flurys, famous for its cakes amd pastries, is one of the best and quite an old cake shop in Kolkata, that serves Indian and European cakes and pastries.

I'm an avid lover of Flurys since childhood and having cakes from Flurys esp during birthdays were an icing on the cake. As a child I would mostly relish the flowers and leaves decorated on top of the cake because they tasted so much like cashew. And there's no doubt the cakes were just toothsome. I still remember the tastes of my favorite cakes and pastries. They are known for delivering the best quality cakes in Kolkata.

Considering everything mentioned above, I ordered cake from Flurys after long this month for my birthday through swiggy and I was really disappointed for the cake I received. I didn't expect the taste would change drastically! The taste of the cake was good but the quality and taste of the petals and flowers were horrible and the design looked so local and cheap; it tasted so sugary. The color with which the name was written was horrible and that too it was written so badly. Only if you see minutely you'll also see that they'd used the cheap quality birthday tag!😡

I'm not going to order any cakes again from Flurys esp, from this particular outlet. It really spoiled my mood and my birthday. I couldn't cut the cake anywhere out in a restaurant just cos of the low-quality presentation. Choosing Flurys was seriously a big...

A very poor experience at Flury's tonight. The pastry and puff were tasty but the cups used for the Cappuccino are terrible. It was falling apart before we could take the first sip and half of it leaked out of the glass in 5 mins. Ankit Ji at the store was very kind and accomodating... the only redeeming part of the experience. He was very kind and always eager to put us at ease and help us with the food and the messy cup. He was very apologetic of the poor experience and I hope the management notes the poor quality of the cup and replace them immediately. This outlet is also quite shabby. A light was constantly flickering, the walls were dirty and the plaster was chipping off. The ambience definitely needs to improve. Hope this...

Food not upto the mark , provided no proper environment for dine in , no proper and basic facility to sit outside to sit and enjoy your food , poor management of everything , food overpriced for an environment like this.

Not suggesting to anyone neither going there myself again.
