Ganesh's Fish Kachouri — Restaurant in Kolkata

This is a gem, fish kachuri and alur dum was tasty, although I have not find any fish chunk but fish taste and smell was there and it was good, we tried veg chop, fish finger, And Newly added Fish Paturi also, Fish paturi is really really so so tasty, must try item at 60 rs per piece, Veg chop was also very tasty, Fish finger was not great / awesome but taste good, they do not promote / support online payment untill or unless you really don't have any option

Ganesh dadar son is taking this shop to another level I really liked the way he is trying his best to take this shop to next level.

Only thing that can be better is hygiene maintain, like our veg chop drop in the slab where the put everything, that was served, then rubbing teeth and without washing hand touch food, this few points can be rectified, overall...

Very tiny shop..manpower is also less than reqrd..now lets come to the fish kachuri.. Its so so.nothing exclusive..u can't find fish paste into it..only u can fl a light fishy flavour..so dont expect deep layer of fish😂😂..i expected.but dissapointed..now saying about "aloor dom".. we,bengalies genrlly prefr literally "kosha,jhal jhal" or spicy chilly gravy..but this tsts not like that.it is light sweet and sour almost like chinese chilly chkn gravy..again i disapointed ..but it looks very well.. You should tst the fish fry once..it is 60 rs as on todays ratechart.and worth eating.. very nice and full of fish.i personally giving 9 out of 10 to this fish fry.. and u can tst the fish kachuri.its 7 rs per...

It is one of those hyped street food places. And I would say it is somewhat reasonable. The food was good. We tried the "macher kochuri"(fish puri) and it was delicious. There was macher paturi and cutlets and they tasted better than I expected. So the food is overall good. But it gets really crowded. The whole family works there but still it gets difficult to handle at times. They try their best to stay humble but there are difficult times and I think as customers,looking at their situation, we should understand and be polite. I would definitely revisit soon. There are other shops who sells these items but this is one of the oldest one and the idea spread from here only plus they are...
