Groovin' Kolkata — Restaurant in Kolkata

Six of us went for dinner at Groovin' last night (Dec-19-2022) at around 9:00 PM. We were disappointed to see a private function happening in one room with a lot of people in it. We feared that the meals will be late, and it did come in late. We were sitting hungry for quite some time over a bowl of soup. I told myself that I was not coming back.

My anger melted when the waiters and the lady owner (?) started to apologize and talking us with smiles instead of frowns. Since that point onwards we started loving the place. Very nice people and very nice and tasty food with good portions. We all had chats, laughs and it turned out to be great night. Too bad, we forgot to take pictures.

The question is, will we come back? Are you kidding? We will be back in full force. We are thinking of a company party at Groovin, after the new year (why after? because we can negotiate a better deal then!!!).

I pray Groovin' grows bigger. They have the right attitude for customer service so it would be hard to stop their growth. We wish you all the best. By the way, the last night's guests gave an overall rating of 8.5 for Groovin'.

∆ Staffs' Behaviour- Staffs were humble & service was quick.

A new cafe near Jadavpur Petrol Pump. We went as guests of our friends. We spent a very Happy evening. Great location. Just near Jadavpur petrol pump. Parking for a few cars available in the adjacent lane. Ambience was nice. Adequate lights , well placed tables, smiling waiters. Was most pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We had prawns, pork and Pineapple Cherry Cheese as starters, Fish and chips and grilled chicken for the main course. All were tasty, freshly cooked and came in decent portions. They were very reasonably priced too. For dessert we ordered darsaan. It was not bad , average and little soggy. But by the time we had enjoyed so much that we chose to ignore that issue.
