This place is just overhyped. They give preference to Swiggy Zomato.
We visited d place last Sunday dinner. 40 mins after placing order, we were told Litti chokha has serious shortage and will take another half n hr to serve. Seriously? Its ur USP and u running short of it? That too they informed after so long. We cancelled it.
Finding no other option at so late, we asked them to serve Ahuna mutton and paratha. When we ordered 5th paratha, they simply said , they cant take paratha order as it will b late again.Again !!!!
The issue we observed is their terrible unmanageable service. Under-staff. We have seen ppl simply leaving d place after finding such delays. Others were also facing such issue. We reported this to one of the service boy ( a fat guy), he started arguing simply. Coz of their overhype, they got such attitude.
Anyway, food is just ok. Very simple one. the place is also dirty, suffocating. They rarely clean floors. Tv's r for show only. Cant display d ipl atleast. Very cheap kind of place. I was so excited to visit a Bihari restaurant as i love Bihari food from my childhood days. But a great learning, never will visit any Bihari restaurant cause of their unprofessionalism and dirtiness. Better to order theough Swiggy Zomato with higher prices.
Suggestion to owner, before wasting time in Youtube vloggings ,pls improve your services and operations. U will get return customers. Else sooner u will realize d reality....

I recently had the misfortune of trying the litti and chokha at this eatery, and it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. The quality of the litti and chokha was average at best, but what really left a sour taste in my mouth was the exorbitant price. Rs 150 for just 4 pieces of litti is nothing short of highway robbery!
I was expecting a more authentic and flavorful experience, especially given the high price point. But sadly, the taste was nothing exceptional. The litti was dry and lacked the usual flavor and texture that I'm used to. The chokha, too, was unimpressive and didn't complement the litti well.
What's even more surprising is that the eatery doesn't offer any exceptional ambiance or service to justify the high price. The setup is basic, and the staff seems uninterested in ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Unless they reconsider their pricing strategy and focus on improving the quality, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. There are far better options available elsewhere that offer more value for money. Maybe they should take a cue from their competitors and learn to strike a balance between quality, quantity, and price. Until then, I'd advise potential customers to steer clear of this...
Read moreCame here on 22nd Dec 2024 for a light snack. Ordered a plate of Ghee Litti Chokha. I didn't get the mutton or any non veg dish because this place is called "Lalu ki LITTI" right? I wanted to have litti.
Service was too bad. they just don't care. You will need to get up from yohr table every time to go to the door to ask them for something... they didn't come to take order for 20 mins after us entering the restaurant.
Their claim to be authentic bihari style and cuisine is practically like a call scammer promising that your money is safe.
There is no authentic taste in the littis, it's completely different. The filling is like a sweet ball of spices with no other prominent flavour. Chokha was more like our Bengali's alu seddho than their authentic chokha. Baingan Bharta had a ton of tomatoes in it making it too sour, but tasted half decent.
I have diarrhea while writing the review (the next day).
Video review coming soon on YouTube channel - Kipte Petuk (and I haven't done paid...
