The ship's very beautiful, the inside of the ship is also very clean. It's like a 3star restaurant on a cruise.

Cost- 599 per person (5.30pm to 7.30pm,including 2hour boat ride & unlimited food and beverages) You have to book your vouchers from bookmyshow. P.S- Now, they have changed the offer at 499 per person for 1 hour ride. Check the details at bookmyshow.

The lower deck of the cruise has only AC & upper deck is a non-AC area. In the air conditioned area, there's only 2 tables & sufficient chairs to accommodate all the people. So, it might be little difficult to have food without table, but overall experience would compensate it all.

In the buffet menu,we had-

Beverages- Blue lagoon Tea/coffee

Snacks- Veg Sandwich Crispy chilli babycorn 👍 Paneer 65 Burnt Garlic fish Mongolian chicken (tasted very good 👍) Yes,there's no main course or desserts there in buffet. But, having 2 hour boat ride on River Ganga & having this all the items for as much as you want, at 600 per person is totally worth.

Apart from Crispy chilli babycorn, Mongolian chicken & tea; all the food items were average. Quality of food was good. But, taste of the food items needs much improvement.

The service was really amazing. Staff behaviour was way too good.

When the boat will go under Howrah Bridge, that moment will be a memory for your entire life. So many beautiful ghats of river Ganga, you will explore. It was a beautiful experience when sailing the ship.

Whether you reside in Kolkata or come from anywhere else to travel in Kolkata, you must at least avail this Lenin cruise once. They are professionally excellent in their work, very helpful, cordial and offer excellent ambience with lip smacking foods. This cruise is so special that it should be included in the 'must visit' list of traveling in Kolkata. Before it, I availed a cruise in Dubai. If you compare both, they are the same in terms of comfort, service, ambience and food quality and quantity. The only difference was a cultural dance show by the local artists, which can be included here to make it more attractive. If you are serious about photography, you must get some wonderful sunset shots and a completely different angle to shoot the legendary Howrah bridge, which you will not get from anywhere else in Kolkata. Our plan to visit Lenin Cruises was totally unplanned and we booked our cruise at the last moment through bookmyshow. One of our visiting senior guest wanted a cruise experience and so we booked the sunset cruise experience on the "floating restaurant on the ganges". I would say the experience turned out to be quite nice. You can reach babughat by car, park your car near calcutta swimming club and from there the cruise is a 5 min walk. The restaurant sails on holidays / specific dates, so better to enquire the same before booking. Overall we enjoyed our experience. The cruiser is well maintained and offers great views of the ganges through multiple vantage points on the lower as well as the upper deck. Food consists of welcome drink, tea, 2 veg starters and 2 non veg starters and veg hakka noddles. Being a vegetarian however I felt the options were a bit limited and would suggest to keep a gravy option to go with the noodles. Also some Jain options would be welcome. Overall the hospitality was good and especially operations manager was personally attentive to the needs of the guests. We were very pleased by the fact that they are open to constructive criticism.
