Princeton Club — Restaurant in Kolkata

This wasnot the first time I was attending Princeton! As several family gatherings have taken place here and also have attended as guests in various events.

However this was special as I was hosting my Son’s 10th birthday this time! Hence everything had to be extra special! Double digits after all!!

Now let me start with my heartfelt big thank you to Mr. Masidul! We have been planning the surprise party well in 2 months advance atleast and you can imagine how many interactions I would have had with him and his Team! Me being a perfectionist I was like very tensed about every small piece. My experience is 110/100! No the maths isnot wrong the extra 10% is for Mr. Masidul. It wouldnot have been possible without his support. Being highly professional, dedicated, commuted - He is a fantastic humanbeing. He helped me at every stage. Really at every stage. From the hall selection to menu to decoration vendors to anything I could think of. To add on the beat part is always with a smiling face and calm & composed attitude. Just fantastic. I always knee he had many other clients to manage and attend at the same rime and often silently observed how well he would manage every end. He truly deserves a thank you note.

Now more I talk about overall experience it would be less. Right from the vallet parking place to every staff behaviour is spotless. Food - I think no guest missed mentioning it was amazing and ‘yum’!!!

Sorry Idon’t recall everyone’s name but shame I should have. Special mention about the vallet person who would always park my car and keep the keys and with a smile! The food serving person who noticed I was too busy attending my guests on the day of the event and wasnot eating myself! He insisted to get a platter for me and said “Mam, now you have to taste it and say how it is…” Trust me I wouldnot have but couldnot say no to his amazing polite gesture. Thank you both.

The entire Team is always at their toes to make you feel comfortable relaxed and confident that all would do great!

Halls are amazing - Saphire and Manor Banquets I am closely aware of but sure the other options must be equally great.

They got great tieups with event management teams, you can chose from. I went with Jit and everything was spotless. From decor to photography videography events like magic show, tattoo artist and more. Best is he is very responsible.

So my next party can be happily arranged here at Princeton again but I would look for Masidul!

Princeton club is quite well located and is just opposite to Navina cinema hall. Cab services are easily available while the other easiest route is to get down at rabindra sarobar metro station and take an auto which drops you down directly infront of the venue. The parking space has a good capacity, while the banquets and lawn are well maintained and is good for any social function or events. Coming to the rooms, they are well lit and spacious, the bathrooms are clean and dry. However we had two rooms in first floor, a twin bed and a double bed. While the twin bed room was fine, the false ceiling of the double bedroom had water droplets scattered over a large area and there were few signs of damp on the ceiling as well. Also the air conditioning system of the banquet hall in the ground floor was not working properly, and even after complaining at the reception the people kept on pointing fingers at each other and the issue was not resolved. Now coming to the food, since no outside catering is allowed, one has to opt for inhouse catering. The food was tasteless, the butter nun was not soft or warm, the fish orly did not even have salt in it and tasted disaster. Only the starters, drinks and the butter scotch ice cream was good.
