Tolly Café — Restaurant in Kolkata

This cafe is located at a walking distance of about 10 mins from Mahanayak uttam kumar metro station. This place is not with much of an expressive ambience but their hospitality was excellent. This cafe is totally dhaba styled with beautiful paintings, dim hurricane lights and more. Accommodation for seating is approx 10-15. Also a good thing I came to know is that all the staffs were women and they're running this place. I ordered FISH FINGER, GRILLED CHICKEN with BOILED VEGETABLES , CHICKEN SANDWICH, CHICKEN PASTA WITH WHITE SAUCE, FRUIT SALAD. 🔺The Grilled chicken was very nice and the chicken was juicy and flavoursome yet healthy. The vegetables were crunchy, fresh and delicious. We could smell the buttery essence. 🔺Fish finger was my favourite. The fish was really good and tasted absolutely amazing with the french fries. 🔺 Pasta was also amazing, it was creamy and flavourful. Had enough chicken pieces and quantity was enough for two. 🔺The chicken sandwiches were served with chips/crisps. Smoked chicken can be sensed in between the crunchy toasted. Tasted absolutely amazing. 🔺The fruit salad was somehow unique from the others that I've tasted. Beautiful aroma of vanilla extract was there with various kinds of fruits. The quantity was fulfilling for 3 people.

Visited this nice cafe on 24th Dec after watching youtube review, most of the youtubers are saying all restaurants are too good which is not true. And probably this is the only place which did not gave me any negetive experience. I had very little expectations on the quality of food considering the very budget friendly pricing of the continental combo. But i was surprised with the taste and quality of each item. The ambience is homely with trees and semi open seating area (which i liked most) don't expect big restaurant kind of ambience or very fast service. The Owner and all employees are so polite and caring that they periodically interacted with each customers and took feedback on every aspect. The number of tables are less (4-5) and whenever crowd is too much please expect some delay in delivery but you won't regret it because of the nice ambience and the owners behavior. Both continental combo and Chienese combo is a must try here.

Suggestions to Management : during our stay we observed most of the customers were small groups (couples mostly), and they didn't want to share the table of 4. so it would be better if you can optimize the seating space with more small tables (for 2 people) so that seats in the table are...

Recently visited this place Tolly Cafe which reminds us of home. It's tag line is that "feel home away from home". The cafe is totally a homely atmospheric feeling and will definitely reminds of our your home.This place is handled by all women stuff including from the owner to the kitchen radhuni (the cook).This place has nostalgia and vintage look. The foods are also made with light spices same like home made cook food which are healthy and organic and also good for health no chemically added ingredients are added to any food. Every item were too good that's it's incomparable.

Fish Finger :: Fish finger here is personal favourite as it's too good and soft and fried that it's melts inside out mouth and just wow in it's taste.

Fruit Salad :: We basically don't like all fruits at home at once but here i had more than 7 types of fruits in this salad which is made with mixing up of all small pieces of fruits and marinated with vanilla essence just bring up a awesome taste and you can't resist yourself to eat more.
