Punjab Hindu hotel — Restaurant in Kolkata

A very old eatery located beside the Beadon Street Post Office. The owner is a very cheerful guy. He personally takes care of everything if you dine-in. There's not really much to speak of the ambience otherwise. It contains some small old cabins and some open tables. That's all.

Coming to the food, well the punjabi food here does stand out. I love their Tadka and Butter Chicken. It goes really well with their Tandoori Roti. Haven't tried much variety, else can't speak about the rest.

But if you love tadka, then this is the place to go for...

We have order butter paneer and tandoori roti..Butter paneer was awesome ....but in case of tandoori roti there was an insect in the roti and when we told the owner he is not excepting the truth told no it is not an insect it is paneer although one of his cook came and told that yes it is insect but he asked their staff to change to roti.....so guys if you're going then be careful...

Situated at Beadon street, the restaurant is a genuine place for family lunch and dinner. Also you can hang out with your friends there for a short while. Food quality is good generally, but at the time of puja it fluctuates. And the worst thing is the quantity here. You cannot equate the quantity of the food you ordered...
