5th May 2023 (Updates in 2024, 2025) The chicken cheese sandwich (Rs 70) was halfway decent. It was smaller than sandwich bread and overdone. Chicken and cheese were adequate in filling. It wasn't value for money.
The tea was too strong for milk tea. Maybe that's what is liked by its loyalists.
In my last visit months ago, the cheese omelette hardly had cheese.
It hasn't worked for me. The prices of basic items (tea, coffee, toast etc) are less and the ambience is humble, so I may drop in for inexpensive snacking, but that's it.
Update: 22nd January 2024 The coffee (Rs 15) was decent - milky and homely. Ordered the cheese toast (Rs 30 for 2 slices) from the menu on the wall instead of butter toast which was on my mind when stepping in. With a generous sprinkle of seasoning, it didn't fare badly.
Update: 1st May 2025 Loved their omelette (Double-egg, Rs 26)! It's a soft omelette, somewhere between an omelette and a sunny side up, unlike an omelette done on both sides that's commonly available. It's an art to make this dish, which, to me, is a USP...
