Rooftop Lounges are the new sensation, period. I mean why not? Enjoying some incredible views while having some good food and great laughs, sounds pretty perfect. Well, The Terrace is a perfect example to do that.
Located near Southern Avenue, The Terrace is the Rooftop lounge of The Steak Factory. The ambience is very pleasing to the eye with beautiful greenery, wooden tables, and wall arts. And if you visit in the evening you will enjoy the pretty lights which beautifies the place to another notch. There is an indoor sitting section too for those who prefer that. Last but not the least, they have a live and well stocked house bar.
Now coming to food, I really don't have anything to criticise about considering each and every single dish which I tried was delicious. The dishes which I tried and will recommend for sure are,
• Chicken Reshmi Kebab
The presentation was on another level! The kebabs were juicy and moist with beautiful smokey flavour.
• Fish Tikka Kebab
Not a fish guy, but the fish was soo gooood!
• Barbeque Pork Ribs
I would Love to come to this place just for this dish again and again. Beautifully tender pork ribs with super yummy barbecue sauce on the top served with assorted veggies and fries, this dish was just PERFECT.
• Chicken Mixed Sauce Penne Pasta
Its tough to make a mixed sauce pasta tasty, it can get easily too sour. But I have no complaints about this dish. A perfect Mixed Sauce Pasta filled with chunks of chicken with quantity enough for 2.
• Factory Grilled Fish
Another fish dish which won me over too. Beautifully grilled fish with garlic-lemon butter sauce and served with mashed potato and assorted veggies, this dish is a must try.
• Chocolate Walnut Brownie Frambe
The brownie was the perfect way to end the meal on a sweet note.
Except all the food items do try out their Peach Martini and Watermelon Martini, both of them were very refreshing.
This was a great experience with some great food and good people. A memorable experience indeed.
Thank You The Terrace for the...
Read moreHad an amazing weekend at The Terrace, the rooftop lounge of The Steak Factory. The ambience is very soothing with pretty lights, green plants and good music. They have an open bar and also a small indoor seatting as well, to skip the heat during summer. As the weather was really pleasant we enjoyed the outdoor ambience pretty much. I must say I'm totally impressed by their food. All the items were lip-smacking. We started off with refreshing mocktails - Peach Matini, Blue Lagoon, Ice Tea & Watermelon Martini. For the starters we ordered Chicken Reshmi Kebab and Fish Tikka Kebab. Both the Kebabs were very flavourful and juicy. Recommended. For the Mains we had : Chicken Cordon Bleu - Crumb fried chicken breast stuffed with bacon and lots of cheese, topped with yummy creamy basil sauce and sauteed veggies, french fries on the side. Recommended. Factory Grilled Fish - The Fish was very fresh and well grilled, topped with lemon butter garlic sauce, served with mashed potatoes & veggies. Highly recommended. Barbeque Pork Ribs - One of my favourites from this place. Perfectly tender Pork ribs cooked in barbeque sauce served with sauteed veggies & french fries, were finger licking! Highly recommended. Chicken Mixed Sauce Pasta - Al dente pasta cooked in delicious mixed sauce with perfectly balanced flavours and lots of shredded chicken. Highly recommended. We ended our meal with these yummy desserts, Blueberry Cheesecake and Chocolate Walnut Brownie Flambe. The staffs were very courteous. Rooftop Lounge serving good food at affordable price is very rare but this one surely takes all the...
Read moreThe Terrace, just like the name suggests, is a rooftop eatery located fairly near Deshapriya Park. The place serves some of the bests from the continental cuisine and also from the likes of the North Indian cuisine.
The terrace forms the roof top of the same building as the Steak Factory. Being on the roof it is indeed bright, well spaced-out, and also has a cozy bar counter. The zone is smoke friendly, and hosts young and middle aged people alike. The crowd is distinct and varied.
Coming to the most important aspect, the food served here tells the story of the quintessential continental food served in old Kolkata. That is to say that the dishes are are quite in perfection given their texture and flavour. The balance of flavours is top-notch, the chefs know their sauces well, and from the Barbecue Pork Ribs to the Chicken Steak the Continental food served here is comforting and delightful.
The Indian dishes served here are not too bad themselves. We had some kebabs and were quite thrilled by the same. All in all, I do see myself visiting this place again for their expertise in Continental food. I suggest you do the same. It might be underrated in terms of how many people know about it, but the ones who do you will definitely have a superb Continental...
