First of all their behaviour, that uncle and that dada are single Handedly managing count-less of orders at a time without messing up anything, but still manages to treat their customers like their family, with a smile in their face, you'll surely get melt away by their hospitality, and this special things make their foods taste great. Their food quality are great and taste good too, i don't even eat mutton but their mutton roll are next level, you can try their mutton and egg-chicken rolls, and some of their combo's, cause they are really pocket friendly. Everytime I came here i always opt for take out, but you can also sit&eat or else you can enjoy your meal inside of your car. Read moreVisited this street food joint on recommendation from @footfundaYt. Even though I mostly trust their recommendation, this was a one off for a different reason.
Ordered their mutton roll, which was good. The mutton was fresh as well as the paratha dough but nothing special. The laccha paratha and chilli chicken combo. The paratha was flaky and soft and the gravy was tasty as well. But the chicken, even though it may seem of standard size was bony pieces such as chicken neck.
Mutton Roll - Rs. 80 Laccha paratha+chilli chicken combo - Rs. 75
Now the main issue. Hygiene. Generally I keep hygiene aside while visiting street food joints but not everything is excusable. The walls were greasy, there were cockroaches roaming around in the kitchen area. Not good.
But it is a popular street food joint in this area with a constant presence of customers and also good behaviour...
Read moreHad the mutton roll that almost everyone talks about. Here's my review:
Taste: 4/5 (it was very good, but felt like my expectations were not met) Quality: 4/5 (paratha was nice and thin but could be a little crispier, filling was also fresh) Value for money: 2.5/5 (it has 3-4 pieces of mutton fat and just 1-2 pieces of actual meat...it's priced at ₹90, so expected at least a couple more pieces of mutton and not just fat) Staff behaviour: 5/5 (zero complaints here)
I will probably go again to taste some other items. Will update the review...
