Tea Time Stories — Restaurant in Kolkata

This is nice place to hangout with friends for an hour with a cup of tea or coffee they have various kinds of tea and you can also buy tea packets . This is basically an apartment converted into a nice and cozy cafe . This place doesn't have any crowd . We went there in afternoon and it was only me and my friend and we chatted for hours . What we ordered

shepherd's pie - from tea time stories which was a layer of mashed potatoes , chicken and chesse Overall this was a good dish a lot better from the other things we had there . Though the layer of mashed potatoes was way too much and the layer of chicken was way too  less . This dish is enough for two people

Chicken and egg sandwich- It was a regular one and was not properly stuffed also was a little bit dry too. It was the kind of sandwich one can easily make at home and the cost would be much less . The price was a bit high compared to it's quality . In simpler sense , it was not worth the price .

We invited our friends after going through their timings, after reaching there, it was closed. Tried calling them many times, after 5th or 6th call, a lady picked up & laughed at us when we questioned why it's not mentioned on any site that the cafe remains closed on Sundays.. She simply said, she has no idea why it's showing like that. We were embarrassed like anything infront of our friends. Very much...
