Mitra Cafe Golpark — Restaurant in Kolkata

Great.i would say better to visit the main Sova bazaar shop.Golpark mitra cafe is very in decent.As the government has said to restrict covid,to pay online or use card.Golpark shop never has an option of online pay, always giving excuses.so better take cash only if you terribly need to eat at golpark centre.I would request the owner of Mitra cafe the oldest restaurant of kolkata,to take care of the online and card pay matters of mainly golpark centre.You are in huge loss.i have seen decent and genuine customers ordered Rs1000 even half done,when they heard no online payment or card.they got very annoyed.they left it happened several times at mitra cafe. Previously before covid the lame excuse about the manager gave about payment was as the college guys force them to use there card and take money in return,very stupid excuse.Now not working excuse.it is...

Mitra Cafe is one of the heritage cafes of Kolkata and having two outlest, one in College Street and another at Golpark. This one is from the Golpark outlet. If you are wondering about the location then it's located just behind the NONI showroom. I tasted their age old Diamond Cut Fish Fry and they still taste the same with no change in their recipe. The fries are filled with sufficient amount of fish and spices with very minimal batter coting. This fish fry comes in two ranges with two different sizes, but I opted for the big one which costed me around ₹190. Apart from fish fries they have a wide range of mughlai parathas and other snack items to choose from. It is definitely a must try for all the residents of Kolkata as you can still taste Kolkata's heritage and it's culture and remember...

Near South City College , Mitra Cafe is a household name in South Kolkata as a Fish Fry Outlet. They still offer amazing Crisp Fried Delicacies. I haven't tried their entire menu , but I always go for these few dishes. Fish Kabiraji A fish fried in special Kabiraji egg batter

The Paneer Pakoda is subjective to availablity , I wouldn't suggest a vegetarian to eat it. But non vegetarian should try because it's battered in the same way and fried in the same oil. It's delicious. But the quality of the paneer is a hit and miss on some days.
