The Silver Oak (Restaurant & Bar) — Restaurant in Kolkata

The restaurant at the junction of Sarat Bose Rd n Southern Avenue has the disgusting habbit of dumping garbage on the street! Very sad! Eateries across the city do this with immunity! This morning i was in front of the restaurant when their sweeper swept the front of the establishment before lunch hour and dumped a plastic bag full of rubbish on the grating of the flood water drain.. it is this kind of practice that causes flooding of roads across city.. The KMC should fine these establishments. When I asked them not to do this they refused to remove it, saying across Sarat Bose Rd all eateries practice this! The Establishment should be a bit more mindful... it is their responsibility to keep their surrounding neat n clean... We ordinary citizens shouldn't have to put up with littered rds so that few can make profit! A very irresponsible act.. I hope they will pay head to this post n stop...

Bad experience during durga puja. Edited: Upon receiving a response here, I'd like to share the following details about our experience at Silver Oak. Our choice to dine there during Durga Puja (Saptami night) proved to be a mistake, as all other restaurants, bars, and pubs were crowded with long queues. Surprisingly, we found empty seats at Silver Oak for dinner. However, our disappointment grew as we waited for almost 30 minutes and repeatedly tried to place our order, but received no response from the staff. Moreover, we observed a significant commotion inside the restaurant, with people in other seats waiting for their food for over an hour after ordering, experiencing misplaced food deliveries, and losing their patience. I recently dined at Silver Oak, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The food was overly salted, making it hard to enjoy, and the noodles were undercooked, giving them a raw texture that was quite unpleasant. To make matters worse, the service was slow, and we faced significant delays in receiving our meal.
