A cheap kitchen with cheap attitude,I arrived late for a district booking due to rainfall around 4:30,they said they won't give the offer though it was showing 2:30-6:30pm in my zomato booking,it was only 10% amount. The issue is that I was sitting there for 10mins,they neither served any water or menu card was given, and the women and waiter behaved as if they are doing some charity and giving free food, the place only has three tables. It is rather like a kitchen with very clumsy space. Art cafe opposite to this joint is much better in behaviour and ambience.
I am adding my reply to your comment because it doesn't matter how many food vloggers you are paying to give good reviews, your cafe just had two people and I now know the reason why! Whereas the opposite art cafe was full with crowd, simply because they are a good bunch of people and they know how to run a business, the issue is not about zomato booking, the booking discount would have been hardly 25-30 rupees, the issue was with your attitude, you did not ask me to do regular order, rather you neither gave me the menu card and any water whatsoever which is the basic things to do when someone arrives a place to dine, and I was sitting there for like 15-20 min while I was having my conversation with zomato. I wouldn't have said any of this but the thing is you are claiming to run a cafe with the taste of North Bengal here in Kolkata, but your attitude is just opposite of the people of the mountains, also your place is small and dingy. But your false ego is like that of My. Everest!😂. Fingers 🤞 to see this eatery close soon and I think I don't have to wait much for that! Afterall courtesy matters more than insta reels!😁 Om...

The moment you step in, the ambience instantly transports you to the hills – it genuinely feels like being in Darjeeling or Kalimpong, with a warm and cozy vibe that makes you want to linger longer. 🌿✨
I have already visited this place twice in the past three months, and honestly, it has become one of my favorites. The food is nothing short of exceptional – every dish is prepared with such authenticity that it makes you keep coming back.
🍴 Here’s what we tried and loved:
Pork Steam Momos – Juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, definitely a must-try!
Himalayan Noodles – Comfort in a bowl, with the perfect balance of seasoning and freshness.
Pork Shapta – Rich, spicy, and cooked to perfection, a treat for pork lovers.
Chicken Kothey Momos – Crispy yet soft, with a filling that bursts with taste.
Each and every dish was next-level tasty – the kind of food you just can’t get over.
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience authentic Himalayan cuisine without leaving the city. I’m already looking forward to...
Read moreRecently, we visited this cozy Himalayan-themed eatery that had been on my wish list for quite some time. The interior had a warm and inviting ambiance, adorned with Nepalese and Tibetan decor, along with a well-organized open kitchen.
We ordered:
Pork Kothey Pork Dry Fry Chicken and Egg Bhuteko Bhaat
The Pork Kothey was a fantastic start—sizeable, juicy, and generously filled with minced pork.
Unfortunately, the Pork Dry Fry was a major letdown. The dish consisted mostly of fried batter with tiny bits of fatty pork, making the actual meat almost non-existent. It felt like eating plain fried batter, which was hugely disappointing, especially for the price.
On the other hand, the Bhuteko Bhaat was a delightful surprise. This Nepali-style fried rice had a distinct and unique flavor, further enhanced by the generous chunks of egg and chicken. It was a new experience for us and definitely a highlight of the meal.
Aside from the disappointment with the Pork Dry Fry, we had an overall good time, with the Kothey and...
