If you're looking for a place with authentic Ladakhi and Tibetan cuisine in Leh city - this place would be perfect.

Out of all the places I visited that serve the local cuisine - this place had the most number of options, including Ladakhi specialities like Chutagi.

We had Shapta with Tingmo (Tibetan bread) and Mokthuk and each of the items tasted delicious! The food felt like a warm hug after a tiring day of exploring.

It's near the Leh Market but can be easy to miss - just spot the big bird statue and you'll know you have reached the restaurant.

The lighting was a bit dim (maybe that was the mood they were going for).

The servers were also extremely polite & a localute, hence knowledgeable regarding the local cuisine. They recommended us which foods we should try and as per their reccos, we absolutely loved the dishes we ordered.

But overall the experience was a...

Went there after reading the misleading reviews. The food was just about okay, but the place lacks warmth or a welcoming feeling. The waiter tried his best to serve me properly, but seemed lackluster. No WiFi, endless wait for food. If you request for a smaller portion size (for single person), they will flatly refuse and will end up serving you so much that it will all be wasted. In the age of solo travelers and vibes, if they act so disinterested and inflexible, how will guests feel welcome? No wonder, the place was empty during...

A very beautiful place with traditionally decorated sitting area. No words to describe about the food. Indian food was mind blowing and the kathi roll served by Mr Raju was really crispy and delicious. My daughter loved the momos and my wife got amazed by the local tradition food called chu-tagi and I enjoyed kadai chicken with a portion of rice and naan.

Friendly female owner and very polite staffs. I recommend to eat and enjoy the ambience...

RAT ON THE PROWL!!! So the title might have given it away, that there was a legit rat in the restaurant when we went for the lunch. The starter was good hence the two stars, cause after that it was all downhill with the main course. Hopefully no one else will have such an experience and they improve the safety first and then maybe the food. P.S. No surprises, I ended up having dysentery.

We had lunch at this restaurant. We got some authentic ladakhi food here. The food was great and the ambience is very beautiful. It's just at the start of the leh market and opposite to old Tibetan market. Good place to hangout before or after shopping. We had gur gur chai and veg and non veg chu tagi here. We also ordered for egg fried rice which was very tasty and more than enough for 2.
