Kofuku Leh — Restaurant in Ladakh

I came early for dinner and it was empty, still the staff was very welcoming. The menu is huge with Japanese items and Korean also, they are a chain you can find in other major cities. I had a temaki which was good but felt that the person that made it doesn't have much experience, then I had Yakissoba noodles which I highly don't recommend, was missing sauce, veggies and it tasted a Worcester sauce basically, the chicken pieces were good. The waiter saw I wasn't eating and he asked if they could do better the sauce in the same dish, I agreed but still was very bad, sorry, I come from a city which Yakissoba is a street staple food and that wasn't Yakissoba at all. apathy is the death of quality. Lack of interest by the staff and absolutely exorbitant prices will kill this restaurant. If this place had a reputation it would already be in the mud.

I have been here a good few times. Alone as well as with family. From the lukewarm reception to absolutely absence of any interest whatsoever shown by the staff in your well being, one will begin to wonder how this place has been running for the time it has. The answer is obvious, sushi monopoly. One cant get sushi anywhere in Leh.

Regardless, it is not worth blowing your hard earned money on the mediocre meals they have to offer.

Kofuku is an amazing restaurant!!!! The Korean food tastes very authentic and delicious; and therefore, my family continued to eat here for the remainder of our stay in Leh. We loved everything we ordered. We also loved the Japanese menu, including sushi which was very fresh.
