Worst Experience at Chai Kaapi - Owner’s Rudeness, Terrible Service, and Disgusting Taste! I visited Chai Kaapi in Indore recently, hoping for a cozy spot to enjoy some tea and coffee as per their name, but it turned out to be one of the most disappointing cafe experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the owner’s bad behavior set a horrible tone. He was shouting at the staff right in front of customers, acting like a tyrant, and when I politely asked about the menu, he snapped at me as if I was bothering him. No basic courtesy or professionalism – it felt like he didn’t care about customers at all, just about barking orders and rushing people out. If you’re the owner, at least pretend to value the people paying your bills! The service was equally abysmal. The staff seemed overworked and demotivated, probably because of the owner’s attitude. It took forever to get our order – we waited 20 minutes just for a simple chai and kaapi, and when it arrived, half the items were wrong. No apologies, no fixes; they just shrugged and said “busy hai.” The place wasn’t even crowded! Cleanliness was a joke too – tables sticky, floors dirty, and the overall vibe was chaotic and unwelcoming. If this is how they treat patrons, no wonder reviews mention similar issues. And don’t get me started on the taste – everything was downright bad. The chai was watery and flavorless, like they forgot to add tea leaves or spices. The kaapi tasted burnt and bitter, nothing like the authentic filter coffee they claim to serve. We also tried their white sauce pasta (based on recommendations), but it was bland, no veggies, and the sauce was more like diluted milk. Even the sandwiches were stale and lacked any real filling. For the prices they’re charging – 90 bucks for a tiny cup of subpar tea? – it’s a total rip-off. I’ve had better from street vendors! Overall, Chai Kaapi is a prime example of how bad management ruins a place. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy rude owners, slow service, and food/drink that tastes like regret. Chai Kaapi PU4 Indore is the worst possible food chain store in Indore.

I visited with my family and ordered a sandwich. The waiter took the sandwich to three different tables, and when those three tables rejected it, the guy served me the sandwich.

This is not the first time this has happened at Chai Kaapi. It happened earlier, too, and I complained, but you guys do not learn and don’t care about the customers.

The staff is extremely dirty and unhygienic. Extremely stinky.

Worst experience. My son was hungry and wanted to eat something quickly but had to get up hungry.

The toilet is extremely smelly and unclean.

Chai Kapoo at PU4 is a nice place to enjoy good, healthy food with great ambience. The service is prompt, and the space is well-designed for hanging out with friends and family. It’s an ideal spot to relax, watch matches, and enjoy some comfort food. The open seating area is also a plus for those who prefer sitting outdoors, especially in the evenings.

We tried the Dalia Khichdi, and it was both tasty and healthy—perfectly portioned for one person. A great choice for a light yet satisfying meal.

Only one suggestion: during summers or hotter days, the outdoor seating can be a bit uncomfortable, so indoor seating is preferable during peak heat hours.
