We recently visited this café and had such a pleasant time. One of the first things we noticed was that the menu had plenty of healthy options, which was really refreshing. It’s nice to find a place that balances taste with healthier choices without compromising on flavor.

The ambiance and vibe of the place were amazing calm, aesthetic, and very welcoming. It felt like the kind of spot where you can enjoy a meal at your own pace, whether you’re with friends, family, or just looking for some relaxing alone time. What made the experience even better was the staff; everyone there was polite, attentive, and genuinely helpful, which added so much warmth to our visit.

As for the food, everything we ordered turned out to be really enjoyable. The Aglio Olio Pasta was perfectly cooked with just the right amount of flavor simple but satisfying. The Di Bianca Pizza was another highlight, with a thin crust, cheesy layers, and a very well balanced taste. We also tried the Peri Peri Fries, which were crispy, spicy, and addictive the perfect side snack. To top it all off, the Vietnamese Rice Roll was light, fresh, and packed with flavor, making it a unique dish to try.

Every item had its own charm, and together it made our dining experience feel wholesome and memorable. Overall, the combination of good food, great service, and a wonderful vibe made our visit absolutely worth it. I was eagerly anticipating the reopening of this pioneering cafe in Indore, now at a new location, after a long hiatus. The new cafe is fantastic and reminiscent of a favorite hangout spot for 90s kids in town.

Regarding the food, we specifically came for the Hummus & chicken, which was incredibly delicious. The Hummus had the perfect flavor, and the pita bread was the most authentic I've had in the city. However, there was a mix-up with our main course order, and we received grilled chicken instead of grilled fish. The chicken was a bit tough, accompanied by an abundance of fried potatoes and veggies, and the sauce was mild in taste.

As for beverages, the Berry Guava Punch was delightfully tangy and refreshing, while the Jamun Tonic was tangy and rich, especially with tonic water (perhaps adding some gin would transform it into the perfect cocktail for a sundowner).

In terms of service, there was a blunder with our order, as the senior staff member mistakenly served grilled chicken instead of grilled fish. Additionally, our request for just two ice cubes in our mocktails was overlooked.

I recently visited Mangosteen Cafe in Indore with high expectations, and while they delivered on many fronts, there were a few areas where they could improve.

Food Review We ordered a variety of dishes, including Loaded Nachos, Thai Green Curry with rice, Pink Sauce Pasta, Peri Peri Fries, Mediterranean Pizza, Pad Thai, Iced Latte, Peach Iced Tea, and Affogato.

The Loaded Nachos, Pink Sauce Pasta, and Peri Peri Fries were all delicious and flavorful. The Thai Green Curry with rice was also well-cooked and presented.

However, the Mediterranean Pizza was slightly underwhelming, with a crust that could have been crisper. The Pad Thai was just okay, lacking the authentic flavor and texture I've come to expect.

Beverages The Iced Latte and Peach Iced Tea were both refreshing and well-made. The Affogato was a nice touch, with a perfect balance of coffee and vanilla ice cream.

Verdict Mangosteen Cafe has a lot to offer, with a diverse menu and a cozy atmosphere. While they didn't quite hit the mark with their pizza and Pad Thai, the other dishes we tried were delicious.

With a bit of improvement in the kitchen, Mangosteen Cafe could easily become one of the top cafes in Indore.
