The place is in groud floor, on main road next to Le Grace In and MarryBrown. We are at ate 3-4 times here, over 3 days.
Food: They offer great dosas, thattu idly, etc. Over 90 Dosas, from normal at 39 to Cheese Volcano, Cheese Burst at 149. They offer Black Dosa, made of edible charcoal, which we did not try, since we are traveling a lot that week. They also have sweet Dosas, which seem different.
Taste: Thaddu podi idly was great along with Cheese Burst Dosa. All items are good but daily the Sambhar and chutney taste used to vary, sometimes it tasted garlic, sometimes differently. That was odd, we did like it at times and not other times. Lassi, Milkshakes are good.
Service: Day 1 service in the evening was good. They seemed to take care ensured things were smooth. Day 2/3, delay in the morning. They are supposed to start at 7am, but start only by 8am, creating a hole in your plans. Basic mineral water bottles are not available, their water bottles were not clean. I had to go out to purchase a 2L, which they did not care about.
Ambience: It seems good but... They keep the doors open for guests, no air conditioner. There is a lot of mosquitos at night, lots and lots of house flies in the morning, which is not good considering hotels nearby which keep them out. Walls need a make over, its 2 years since opening.
Cost: Basic Dosas and Idly are cheap. They don't put up Pongal, milkshakes on the menu though they have it, the prices are economical.
Personnel: Only few know what they are doing, some don't. Messages are relayed, reconfirmed back with guests. They don't stock water bottles, ghee, etc. Card machines may not work too.
Parking: No special parking, you need to park on the road or opposite side area.
Overall: I am ok due to the food taste, quality and cost. Many turn back after seeing the house flies, they need to control some of...

If anyone had money to invest they're simply starting grill chickn or Briyaani each and every corner of streets and roads. But you're different. But being different is not enough to sustain in this field.
Please note if your father have more money for your investments, you might invest on something which do not wasting public money and time. Today I wasted money and valuable time. I heard one of others mentioned the indecent feedback from other person who ate with us which I don't want to mention here
It's Madurai. Those whoever starting new food shops then this is not the right city to sustain with such poor quality of food and worst quality of taste. It's simple waste. You can just tear the remaining money instead of wasting public's money and time with such bad, worst quality of taste with such high price. Because the results we clearly know what it will be. The one who disappoint single customer won't be sustain long time at any industry. Not only food.
Glad and surprised with your classy cook of such a wonderful Master. Never seen before. You could be a better competitor for Chef.Dhamu.
Overall the name doesn't relevant to your quality of your business or taste of your Dosas.
It's not about discouraging or something else. But that's what the true thing and you would need to accept it. No choice. We're hurt because of your food, bad taste, worst quality. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. So you accept(think) incase the above comment hurt...
Read moreA young team which easily looks like new to the industry but ready to adopt is the overview of them. Taste, quality all excellent...youngsters looking for delicious vegan dosa's will love it no doubts but there is huge room for improvement in service, timely service do not ever step in with quick bit thoughts. Also don't step in with huge number of persons by your side not more than 4 i recommend so keep these mind it will be. Good outing and if they are going to change all these in near time they would fly in colors.
Dosa's tasted - Pasta dosa, Ragi Dosa, Pudhina Dosa, Paneer Masal dosa, Schezwan Paneer Dosa, Mix veg curry dosa, Charcoal Dosa, MDC Special Dosa, Onion Dosa they serve sauce, sambar, chutneys for each type of dosa and one more point to be noted is masala taste liking differs on each person. Watch out for the trendy good looking atmosphere of them as well.
One more point to the restaurant is please drop the idea of self-service. Recommeded to all dosa lovers The above was my first experience now during my 2nd experience after long years gap found more items now available in menu not just dosa and for dosa too they have more dishes...
