“Aditya Khanawal offers a taste of normal Kokani-style cuisine, with a delightful emphasis on seafood. While the flavors are good, they don’t quite reach the level of awesome. However, there are a few significant drawbacks. First, there’s no dedicated parking, which can be inconvenient. Second, the place becomes sweltering hot during summer days. But the most frustrating aspect is their cash-only policy. Even when customers insist on making online payments via UPI, the owner’s rude response about needing to pay other vendors in cash seems baffling. The ambience is that of any konkani home, lots of trees around. It is located right next to Pracheen Konkan which is the must visit museum in Ganpatipule and also bang opposite the Ganpatipule Magic Garden which is a small amusement park of sorts. Food is homemade and reasonably priced. Expect half an hour waiting as the food is prepared after you place the order but you get a hot plate of yummy home made konkani food. The veg, chicken and fish dishes are all very good. They don't have mutton in the menu. Very good value for money and since its next to the konkan museum and the magic garden, you can park your car/bike in the nearby parking and goto all three places without having to travel more. Aditya Khanaval is next to Prachin Konkan and many visitors to Prachin Konkan eat there. There is one more veg restaurant opposite Aditya Khanaval. Aditya Khanaval offers non-veg food in the form of Limited thali. Food is tasty. Service may not be that prompt. They prepare food fresh and hence the delay. Rates are reasonable. There is one or two person to serve and the person can be a little stretched in peak hours and the Khanaval is an extension of their house. Extra food cost but are reasonable if you compare to a full fledged restaurant. Khanaval are supposed to be low-ost, low-frill restaurant and Aditya Khanaval fits the bill. No parking available in front of the restaurant. You can park in Magic Garden or Prachin Konkan Parking....
