After visiting multiple Cafe Peter in and around Pune, I happened to visit this branch on a Sunday. 💃
Ordered, Oriental Sizzler, specified multiple times that, the order is Vegetarian food. Yet what was served had eggs, used in coating the Cottage cheese and pre-used oil (egg preparation) was used. The food had a severe stench of eggs (for picky eaters, thd flavor of eggs can be a major turn off). Plus, am extra careful as I suffer from albumin allergy, which can result in my hospitalization too 🤮. However, the restaurant doesn't care. Why would they?
So, to overcome such a horrible experience and situation, the issue was reported, where the restaurant completely denied any egg usage for my order 😭. Also, there wasn't a manager in the restaurant on a Sunday, wow! 🤬.
I ordered a hot chocolate, to be able to have something in my growling - hungry tummy, what next came was liquid raw dark chocolate with sugar, no milk or cream . Which upon multiple feedbacks was finally served with some milk, with the information, that they can't do any better 🤢. Yet didn't meet any standards of hot chocolate.
Therefore a coffee was ordered, for the time being, till I could decide what I wanted to do next to make up for the already ruined Sunday. Thankfully the coffee was edible ☕ (I didn't mention good, as even the coffee tastes better in other Cafe Peter branches).
The only time I didn't loose my mind in the restaurant and it's staff was during the bill payment. They had the sensibility to not charge for the sizzler.
Overall no food standards of Cafe Peter (other branches, eg. Pashan, Koregaon Park) was met. Worst experience of eating out on a weekend. Spoiler alert for foodies, visit at your own risk, ad the restaurant staff don't give a damn about your experience with the place 😤😤.
P.S: The place has good vibes in terms of comfortable seating, choice of music, room temperature and ample four-wheeler parking available even on a Sunday. Most of the guests of other tables were only ordering coolers and chillers 🙄 🙃 (My observation while trying to figure out, is...
Read moreCafe peter one of my favourite cafe chain in pune located at Pimple Nilakhm.I went here with my troop Firstly, let's talk about ambience; This place have lot of room for sitting. Also, you have option to choose indoor and outdoor, flexible to your mood. It has this warm and ravishing aura utterly precise to enlighten your mood. There's coffee merged all over in it's atmosphere. So, u can breathe in caffeine. This place have got Wasabi serving in here. Lets talk all I had-
Turkish cappuccino This Turkish coffee prepared, using very finely ground coffee beans without filtering. With a single sip, I'm head over heels in love with it
Irish coffee - Irish coffee is one the classic coffee mixed drinks. Taste was amazingly beautiful.
Cafe latte- This coffee made using espresso and steam milk. If u are coffee lover then this coffee is Highly recommend for you all.
Dak Jang Jeong (Jang Nyu) Its was korean sweet , Spicy and crispy chicken dish. Each piece of chicken wing is coated with sweet and crispy sauce.
Cheese Chilli Toast Bread was perfectly grilled.Adequate amount of cheese used in preparation and chopped green chilli was spread over it.

Read moreI had high expectations from Peter's because of a friend's recommendation but I am sorry to say the experience was a flop.
The Korean Ramen Soup tasted like a Maggi noodle except it was so spicy it was actually inedible. The only vegetable I could detect in it was carrot and a negligible amount of cabbage. I doubt the vegetable component in this oily broth was more than 15 grams in the entire bowl!
The so called Thai Green curry is very salty (I suspect industrial powders were used to achieve enhanced flavours effect).
The rice served with the Green curry was a very small portion so we ordered extra rice.
It took twenty to twenty five minutes for the extra rice to arrive and when it did it was noticeably dry rice warmed up in the microwave (this is why the plate was very hot) so I really can't understand why it would take more than twenty minutes to bring it to the table.
The cold coffees are also below mediocre.
ie: the mocha ice coffee 'on the rocks' bares absolutely no resemblence to mocha. It is basically water with ice some coffee and loads of cheap industrial chocolate sauce.
The ambience is nice in so far that the place is appealing to the eye but the WC are not the type of cleanliness you would expect from an establishment at this price level.
Bottom line : not...
