Ekvira Potnis Bandhu (Seafood restaurant) — Restaurant in Maharashtra

We had seen most of the positive reviews for this place specially mentioning polite owner and good service. I was continuously following many places recommended by different channels and groups etc. we were very excited to visit this place and also read that they prepare fresh food after you place order and preorder would be recommended. We planned for Diveagar and supposed to reach at around 2 pm. We called them at 1-1.15 to place an order in advance. First thing that the owner was not at all responsive. He mentioned that they did not have pomfret available and we were okay with it. We told him about our order and he asked how many people. It was just 2 of us, as soon as he heard it he started reverting very rudely. We asked him about availability of other things, he directly disconnected the call saying “wo nai milega”. We were just enquiring, he didn’t even wait for our confirmation.

We have not seen such rude behaviour in a very long time from anyone as if we are asking for free food. We were very disappointed and specially we didn’t expect it after so many positive reviews for behaviour.

Of course, we didn’t call back since we don’t want to give business to someone who is insulting their customers rather they should value them and atleast reply politely even if they can’t serve.

It was my first time in Diveagar, and I was looking for good seafood to eat. My friend recommended this OG place to me. Ekvira Potnis Bandhu has been hosting people for ages. The food is amazing, as is the host, Santosh Potnis 👨‍🍳. His entire family loves offering the great seafood they cook.

It's definitely worth the money and time. Santosh kaka is very approachable, and you can ask him anything you want to know.

This is the best place to eat authentic CKP food, veg , nonveg at DiveAgar. The place is owned by Potnis kaka who himself cooks fish fry and serves lovingly, everything you get here is fresh, super delicious and the taste lingers as a fond memory of DiveAgar trip.
