My recent dining experience at Flavours of Andhra was nothing short of a gastronomic adventure. Nestled in Pune, this restaurant stands out as a haven for those seeking the authentic and vibrant flavors of Andhra cuisine.
Upon entering, the ambiance instantly transported me to the heart of Andhra Pradesh. The decor reflected the rich cultural heritage of the region, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience.
The menu at Flavours of Andhra boasts an extensive array of dishes, and I embarked on my culinary journey with the Ramadan specials – Chicken Haleem and Chicken Mandi. Both dishes were a celebration of flavors, with the Haleem offering a perfect blend of spices and textures, and the Mandi impressing with its aromatic rice and succulent chicken.
What truly sets Flavours of Andhra apart is their commitment to delivering an authentic experience. Each dish showcased the mastery of Andhra spices, offering a genuine taste that transcends geographical boundaries.
The restaurant's special Ramadan offer further enhanced the dining experience. A generous 25% off on the bill made the meal even more satisfying.
The service was impeccable, with the staff displaying a deep knowledge of the menu and a genuine passion for the cuisine they served. Their recommendations only added to the overall enjoyment...
Read moreWe visited this restaurant looking at the reviews but half of the andhra dishes from the menu card were not available. We ordered from whatever was available and after 20 minutes after the order, manager car back saying fish is not available plz order prawns. Only biryani’s from the menu were available. Service was very slow. Hardly 2-3 people were available gor service on busy day like Saturday. We asked for glass to drink water but they told they don't have enough glasses to serve water and hardly 3 -4 families were sitting in the restaurant. Looking at the name of restaurant we went but staff does not know about the dishes mentioned in menu card or authentic Andhra dishes. Coming to food, taste was okay. We ordered biryani and we had to ask twice to serve curry or rayta or onion. They served it when dinner was over. I think owner really need to look into how the restaurant is...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant and was thoroughly disappointed. First off, the prices are shockingly high for what you get. They charged ₹28 for a bottle of mineral water which is a local brand and ₹24 for a small cold drink — which is completely unreasonable. Even worse, the starters were extremely overpriced without offering any exceptional taste or portion to justify the cost. To top it off, most of the items listed on the menu were not even available. It’s frustrating to sit down expecting a good meal only to be told that more than half the dishes can't be served. Overall, not worth the price or the experience. Definitely wouldn’t recommend unless they seriously improve their pricing and stock...
