I have been a customer since 20 years.... Earlier years their one special staff was super rude to customers.... Now.. there is no billing system.... He/they write things in a book and calculate... What they are writing only they knows.... They say total this much and we pay that much... We never get an opportunity to learn about the price of each bakery item they keep their.... They only write for themselves.... They don't write or give a bill details for customers ... Two days back in April 2024.. I went to purchase certain things ... As the shop was nearing to be closed, confusions can arrise.... I bought four items and was told a bill amount which seemed huge.... But still paid as I too was not comfortable troubling others.... But was curious to know the price so I took a photo of the page he wrote .. there it showed billed for six items vs the three I purchased... I called him and he accepted the amount to be refunded which came as 60/- at the time. I told him not to send money... We will adjust on our next purchase... Then next day I went with the things which was still kept in my vehicle cabinet.... There I waited for other customers to go away, so that I can speak to him... He was hurriedly ready to give the money back... However not ready to listen to my concern...
Such things can be happening regularly Customers may are getting cheated (unknowingly as he will not be doing it on purpose) How to avoid such situations Can we not keep billing system so that both the vendor and customers are happy No room for misunderstanding
But he was not at all ready to speak... He was getting angry (as I did expect that from him).. I couldn't share my valuable feedback to him.... As he was ignorant on that....
I travelled 10 kms total 20 kms just to make him understand .... But i was not encouraged to talk further ...
This all understanding about the error in bill happened... Just because of my additional effort of taking thr photo of what he has written....
And now the difference came to 80/-
Money is not the issue here... If that was the case, I would not have travelled all the way to their place..
Quarrel was not my plan or idea.... Hence I waited patiently for all other customers to settle their bill and go.., so that I can speak to him.....
Kindly discuss bill with them, him, demand bill... He scribbles in his own handwriting which is hard to understand......
