Mezza 9 Family Fine Dine Restaurant& Banquets — Restaurant in Maharashtra

I remember visiting this place with my family for dinners and birthdays! Back then when hinjewadi was not a IT hub this place still existed. And after numerous options around the city, I happened to visit here after a year or two. I must say nothing much has changed. Infact they have worked a little on the interior and made it even better. The place is huge and they've various seating arrangements from huts to outdoor seating, inside seating and much more. As we were a group, we decided to get seated in a hut which was quite preety and had candle lights, flowers and the table was also well arranged.

Coming to the food, we started off with the soups,since Winters have kicked in and nothing can be as good as a warm bowl of comforting soup. I tried the Butter garlic chicken soup and Greek horiyatiki, I absolutely loved the Butter garlic soup it was just the kind of soup I love, creamy and flavourful. Whereas Greek horiyatiki was on the spicy side and perfect for people who love spicy.

Appetizers -

Mezze platter - Oh the Mezze platter looked so preety that you don't feel like eating it, full marks on presentation. The hummus tasted just fine but I was in love with the pita bread.

Baked stuffed mushroom ricotta - One of the best things that I had here, I absolutely loved the consistency and taste of this. Must have.

I also tried Harissa cottage cheese and dahi k Kebab - I found both the dishes average and could be improved.

My favourite appetizer in chicken stands to be the Seekh Kebab and Chicken Chilada Kebab. The seekh Kebab looked quite average but after taking a bite, it just melted in my mouth and was super delectable. The Chicken chilada Kebab is a treat for people who love cheese, it was loaded with cheese in between and wrapped with chicken, the chicken was juicy and tender and overall this was a filling appetizer.

After having so many Appetizers I couldn't go for Mains as I was totally full, maybe next time :)

Irrespective of the heavy meal, there's always a room for dessert. I tried Belgium Chocolate mousse, Mezza9 choco ice box and classic Tiramisu. The Mezza9 ice box was their legendary dessert but it's changed a bit in taste and maybe it can be made better, the combination of ice-cream used can be swapped with something else.

Overall it's an unquestionably great place to be with your bunch of friends, loved one's or family because the place is huge and they have something for everyone. Great going...

Non Hospitality team in hospitality industry.

Overall summary --Staff wear uniform but not attitude, they have table cloth but not proper table.. They gave food but horrible taste...

Hotel has infrastructure but no hospitality.

Body without soul.

They do not know how to be in food industry.

It's just feels they had ample money and space they spent on ambiance and infra.. But serving food without culture. It's like body without soul...

Mexican paneer starter taste sweet. some awful 😞 paste.. who the hell serves sweet taste Mexican dish.???

white pasta taste sweet as if they added sugar - our kids rejected and left half portion.

service horrible. For 10 pax they joint the table in AC section. And each table had different height causing unevenness.. Kis chiz ka Paisa lete ho bhai ..

we ordered dim sum . They said it will take 25-30 min. We said ok. 15 min after ordering waiter comes back and says dim sum not available. Asked reason why ? No answer .

Asked brocolli almond soup .. not available..

Means you order run of the mill standard item it's available but not all in menu.. Moreover item which takes time they avoid serving during peak hours for their own convenience..

Ordered Sizzler. It taster like veg paneer biryani served on sizzling plate...

In the end we celebrated our members birthday with in house ordered cake... Cake cane but no candle.. When candle cane no lights were given.

When cake cutting was done no tissue , no plates were served...

Sonin an all Waiters do not know how to serve food, how to take food request. The way they put cutlery, serve the portions, revert on requests. All unprofessional.

Atleast I would say they do not know how to serve continental food.

All dishes are like hamare yaha Aisa hi milta hain...khana hain to Khao nahi to bhaad main jao..." We get crowd who are willing to pay for non sensical behaviour and food.

And shameless people charges 5% service...

It was one of my fav restaurant in wakad-hinjewadi but today they crossed the limit of worst service we can expect ever. Just because of one wrong crowd control manager her name was Nisa or Nisha that's what other manager said to me. We 4 were seating in a area which can accommodate 8 people. The restaurant was not so crowded that they had to shift us all of sudden when we already placed order. I understand such things that they have to manage the crowd but the way she said that totally disappointed us. This was first time i took my in laws here and it was very weird for me that i had to take them to other place. Without starting with any hello or sorry she said you are sitting in wrong seat it's for 8 not for 4 with a very rude tone. I am very sure she is not a hotel management graduate she is some 10th pass that too from state govt school. Till the end she didn't apologize for it. Worst part is the order was already taken when we were at initial place so we thought order will be delivered on new place. After 30-40 min when we asked for order they said there is no order placed for your table. I was shock as we were already there for such long. Then we had to order again and that due to crowd we got our food after 1 hour. That too served on plates which were not well washed and sides corner broken. I have attached photos for evidence.

It really spoiled my entire day. Seriously that girl or lady don't deserve job in such industry.

I am really grateful to Vikas the person who was serving us he really took good care in the end. I am appy that there was one good apple in these bunch of idiots. I will never ever can take a risk to see her face as i might loose my temper. So it's the final visit to this restaurant which I used...
