This is a similar restaurant as the other Kailash Bhavan, but this serves only vegetarian food. So if anyone is particular about that aspect then you should go here. The food over is okay. The service over here is not warm and inviting and there is no personal touch. The manager had no smile on his face. It felt a little transactional. Also we had 7 people in the group so we all ordered our food. The host never warned us about the quantity of the food. Each dish can server 2-4 people. So there was some amount of unnecessary overeating and wastage which is not something I like. Other restaurants gave us the expectation on the portion size and warned us. I wish this restaurant did more. Some soups like cream of broccoli and Cream of veg seemed like the same soup (even the waiters were confused on what they were serving). There were only specs of vegetable or broccoli to differentiate it. Overall, I would recommend this place only if you particular about vegetarian food being cooked in the kitchen or eating in a non-cramped...
Read moreThis restaurant offers the best ambiance with great taste and quality every time I visit there. I have been a regular visitor to Kailash Parbat every time I have been to Lonavala and the hospitality and service impressed me every time. They offer a complete package at a very affordable price point every time and include all essential hotel needs. Also, recently, the hotel has been through a little renovation and it feels even more mesmerizing here now. Keep up the good work. I would like to mention a special thanks to Mr. Sandeep Sathe, in-charge Mr. Sachin Sathe and restaurant captain Ms. Priti Jambhulkar for their very much customer centric support and...
Read moreMy past experiences were good. But this time it was a disaster. The staff are very ill mannered and arrogant specially the manager in-charge. We had ordered Jain food but we were served non jain food. When we pointed out that the food we were served has onion and garlic the manager argued and said we have served jain food. Fortunately the were onion pieces visible and we showed it to the manager. The best part is that the manager didn’t apologize and did not accept their mistake. So we decided to pay and leave with a sour experience. I would not recommend this restaurant (Nandi) to anyone. Pls try other restaurants which are pure veg and serve...
