The property is nice, kind of new, can accommodate only a small number of guests compared to hotels around, in a very accessible area just outside the main market and traffic, but a little costlier compared to nearby hotels.
It probably was a personal property with an old house and a backyard. The old house is now the reception and dining, and the backyard now houses a few bungalows, a lawn and a small pool. They have kept indoor games and a few toys like a cricket bat and a ball, badminton rackets and a shuttle etc on the lawn. There is a nice overhang kind of seating space on the pool. The whole area is very green, very, and nicely maintained. At night it looks even more beautiful with all the lights.
Each of the bungalows has 3-4 separate rooms. The rooms are cozy, and well furnished. There is a varanda/balcony for each of the rooms. And a small back porch with a tea table, if you get the ground floor room. We had booked a suite, it was nice, had 2 rooms, 2 toilets, one small WC and one with a Jacuzzi. No changing room, or lobby, a single TV, separate ACs per room, closet was adjusted in the entrance lobby. And full glass window/doors for both rooms.
Although the room appeared to be new or well-maintained, the AC in the bedroom was leaking water. The Jacuzzi squirted brownish water from the jets, with some white particles/pieces of something. Don't know what the guests who stayed there before us before did with it! I had to get it cleaned by the housekeeping staff. My general metric is to check the health faucet in the toilet, if it has even tinge of organic matter or dirt (anything "brown" on it), then first of all, it's gross and second the hotel isn't maintained and you run! This here was clean, but it had cleaning liquid residue on it. So, good attempt at maintenance, but falling short I guess? And we found a small spider on the sofa, i guess it's okay given all the vegetation around.
There aren't many facilities, like the reception is somewhat clueless, like they'd forget to tell you what is included or to give you the receipt. No spa or lounge.
A comment about the pricing, you get a larger suite with breakfast, dinner and lounge access in a hotel like Sheraton Grand in Pune in the same cost as this suite with breakfast. May be the because this is Lonavala, but still, Fariyas resort is similarly priced and includes a bigger property with a whole waterpark, and including dinner. Anyway, but we enjoyed the stay, so worth it, I guess.
On the night we stayed here, some lovebirds had an anniversary celebration, just for 2, planned in the dining area above the pool, so we couldn't use it. Also that's why there are lights...

Read moreI travelled here with my 3 months old on my husband’s bday and the stay was really amazing. Details have been noted in points below: Staff & Service - I must say the staff here are really helpful and listen to all your requests, especially Kajal and Alma (as I remember the names but not sure). As I said it was my husband’s bday and they don’t have in house bakery but they did arrange this delicious brownie, very nicely decorated with warm smiles and wishes. This was my last min request and they did it. Whatever we asked for they provided. We checked in very late and I had to feed my baby and they immediately provided room keys without asking for details. They also provided us upgrade on request. I had booked dinner from a platform which was a glitch as they did not provide any buffay services. But still they arranged ala carte of whatever we asked and everything was inclusive through my package. Rooms - Rooms are descent. I had booked DeluxZ for 1 day and then Zuper Delux next day but they did provide us Zuper on first day itself. Room had everything we needed for a relaxing stay Food - Food is delicious and fresh here. Very good quality. Limited choices but everything is fresh and lip smacking. Property - property is small for a resort with a garden and pool but as I was travelling with my 3 month old this was perfect for me. You can really spend spend good quality time with your family and relax if that’s what you’re looking for. Location - Location is just on road with walking distance from main market and eateries. Very accessible yet inside you’ll feel secluded from city’s hustle bustle. Parking - this is something which you guys might need to work on. As parking is less and in open we got something on top of our car which was really difficult to get it out without...
