A family creation, The Punjabi Rasoi boasts a deliverance of personal rapport with its clientele, Satguru's Punjabi Rasoi was the vision of Dalip Singh Baweja, who loved both - good food and serving it, whether it's our parathas, meat dishes or vegetarian fare, you will surely experience a fresh breeze from the fields of Punjab during your meal. 2010 - Building A Legacy Amazing taste at affordable rates has ensured that this legacy was not only carried forward from its modest beginnings to a private limited enterprise, it is that authentic . . . Our spread boasts of the very best of Punjabi cuisine with our signature dishes being Murgh Dum Khasta, Butter Chicken Masala, Dal Makhani, Tangdi Kebab and more . . . And for all those seeking a more Oriental flavour, we are pleased to say that our Rasoi, in the tradition of Indian and Punjabi hospitality, also houses a China Town - serving you mouth-watering dishes from the across the border. 2012 - New Levels Rishu Baweja, Ramanpreet Singh and Joy Chatterjee took it to a new level has overcome the brand's expansion with branches at Magarpatta, Kharadi, Hinjewadi, Ravet with the latter presenting itself as the high model. We have 4 branches. Satgurus Punjabi Rasoi was awarded the best - Punjabi cuisine category in Pune city - by Indian Lifestyle awards 2015. 2015 - India Lifestyle Award We have received India Lifestyle Award in 2015 for best Punjabi Cuisine in town. 3rd Rank Across India We got 3rd rank Across India for delivering more than 4000 orders from Zomato in the 1st six months of the year.

Avoid at all costs: Disastrous Lunch at Punjabi Rasoi Ravet This place was a complete letdown. If you're looking for a decent meal with halfway decent service, look elsewhere. Where do I even begin? We were at Santosa water park and thought of trying this restaurant, but our excitement quickly fizzled. We waited a whopping two hours for our food to arrive! By the time it got to us, we were starving and past the point of being pleasantly hungry. Now, onto the food itself. The fries were a disaster. They were so overcooked, they were practically inedible. Imagine a bag of chips left in the fryer long after they're golden brown - that's the kind of "crispy" we're talking about here. To top it all off, the brownie was a major disappointment. Dry, crumbly, and devoid of any chocolatey flavor, it was a sad end to a forgettable meal. The ambience wasn't much better. The restaurant felt more like a roadside dhaba than a place you'd take someone for a nice evening out. Don't get me wrong, there's a charm to local dhabas, but this place lacked that too. Overall, it was a complete mess. The abysmal service, terrible food, and underwhelming ambience make it an experience I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Save your money and your tastebuds and head somewhere else!

Disappointing Experience with Service and Food Quality.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the overall experience I had during my recent visit. While I appreciated the pleasant ambiance of the hotel, I regret to inform you that the service and food quality fell far below my expectations.

First and foremost, let me address the issue of service. I encountered several instances where the service was lacking in attentiveness and efficiency. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive to the needs I had. For instance, there were significant delays in getting our orders taken, and we had to repeatedly seek attention from the waitstaff. This lack of promptness and attentiveness greatly impacted our dining experience and left a negative impression.

Furthermore, I must express my dissatisfaction with the quality of the food we ordered. Specifically, we ordered the Veg Maratha and Paneer Tikka. Sadly, both dishes were underwhelming in taste, quantity and presentation. The Veg Maratha lacked the authentic flavors I expected, and the Paneer Tikka was disappointingly dry and lacked the usual succulence. The overall quality of the ingredients and the execution of the dishes did not meet the standards one would expect from a hotel of your caliber.

Another aspect that added to our discomfort was the ineffective air conditioning. Despite being in a well-designed and aesthetically pleasing dining area, the AC failed to provide the desired cooling effect. This lack of a comfortable temperature took away from the otherwise pleasant ambience, making our dining experience less enjoyable.

As a customer who had high hopes for a memorable visit, I feel obliged to provide this feedback to help you improve your services and maintain the reputation of your esteemed establishment. It is crucial for any hotel to prioritize the satisfaction of its guests by ensuring attentive service, maintaining high-quality food standards, and providing a comfortable environment.

I sincerely hope that you take this feedback constructively and work towards rectifying the mentioned issues. I believe that by addressing these concerns, you will be able to enhance the overall experience for your guests and ensure their utmost satisfaction.

I hope that my feedback will contribute to the improvement of your services. I trust that my next visit to your hotel will be a more...

Had heard a lot about it but the only that was keeping me away from going to this place was my parent's taste of food which kinda puts me into a position of reviewing the food first for any new location and than taking my parents there. But to this time I somehow convinced my parents to come with me on the first instance only for this restaurant and boy oh boy neither my intuitions for the place nor the food quality failed me. Thanks Punjabirasoi

Ambience :-

Perfect amalgamation of the dhaaba and the modern look.

Staff :-

Polite especially the Captain Shailesh who helped us selecting the perfect dishes as per our specification ( as he got it tweaked with the chef in terms of spice levels requirements as per us)

Food:-

Soup

Chicken Munchow Soup a bit on the thinner side in terms of viscosity but the taste was apt.

Starters

Paneer ( cottage cheese) Malai tikka which is supposed to be a bit sweet because of the cream that is used to marinate the paneer was spot on the paneer just melted away inside the mouth which shows the freshness of the product.

Chicken lollipop crispy on the outside and juicy from inside which was great and also the chicken pieces served were all healthy pieces used.

Murg Adraki Punjab was chicken leg pieces marinated in cream ginger and than roasted in tandoor ( charcoal oven) was again juicy and chicken pieces were tender and healthy in nature.

Main course

Paneer banjara masala as like the starter paneer was again tender and the gravy was great the best part was no where in our dishes we didn't got raw ginger or garlic in any of the dishes that we ordered as the taste of these two are very prominent and ruins the taste of the dish if you direct chew them.

Murgh Musalam the moment the dish came on the table the aroma of the dish simply blew me off coz if the aroma is great the food been served would be great too.

In rotis we ordered butter naan and a missi roti which were soft but not burnt on the edges and had good amount of butter applied to them.

Food serving time was like super quick which my whole family liked.

Word of advice to the team :- just have some more captains and waiters deployed because they were always on their toes running from one table to another that's my only advice otherwise once again thank you guys. Would definitely be coming back for more joyful foodie times to...

Sorry I cannot be polite after the most pathetic and unusual experience till now. There was a serious problem in everything but no staff bothered to listen or resolve. Such places should be closed down and they don’t have any rights to charge their customers. Punjab Rasoi is a renowned restaurant brand in Pune and I have been here couple of times. Yesterday I decided to visit for dinner along with my family (all the way from Kothrud) but it turned out into a nightmare. To explain in detail, when we entered I noticed that the staff was very less and all were acting confused. The ordered was placed to the staff who was available as there was no supervisor / captain who could greet you and take the order. After a long wait and follow up with the staff the starters arrived but without the basic chutney and salads. Then the second tasks of follow up started for the chutneys and salads. The salad ie tandoor onion arrived after the tandoor finished. When I tried to escalate this issue to manager I found out that the manager is not wanting to meet the customers. After sometime all the customers started facing such issues and literally there were couple of fights between the staff and customers. After realising the unusual behaviour of staff we decided to cut short the food order and settled to order our final dish which was served after an hour with the follow ups. I had to get up couple of times and search the staff but no one responded. To highlight one of the lady staff acted so arrogantly and denied to serve water as well (seems she was too frustrated). The entire situation was so pathetic and unpleasant with all arguments / fights going around / customers walking out - moving around in search of manager (manager who didn’t care to show his face) that my weekend was spoilt. Even after this the staff gathered around me for collecting the bill / money and upon the argument of GST I settled the bill. On leaving the hotel The staff told me that there was software issue and manpower shortage upon which I suggested them to stop the customers from entering the hotel till the software issue...
