Shree Krishna Veg Court — Restaurant in Maharashtra

A recent addition to the PCMC food scene, here comes the iconic restaurant Shree Krishna Veg Court, which has been quite popular among patrons for almost 47 years. I was greeted by owner Aditya Shetty, who owns this place, and was informed that it had just opened a couple of days ago. They have an extensive menu that covers breakfast, snacks, and lunch and dinner.

Now coming to the main part, i.e., food,It was perfect weather to start off with some hot soup, so begin with sweet corn soup, which is kind of bland for my palate, but pepper and salt make it awesome. Perfect consistency can be tried for sure.

Next on, the appetisers we got served were Makhmali Seekh Kebab, followed by Paneer Cotton Kebab and Masala Soya Chaap. For me, Paneer Cotton Kebab was the show stealer; soft charred paneer stuffed with cheese and tingling red chilli flakes make it even more awesome. I highly recommend this.

Where, Masala Soya Chaap was good too, but it was lacking in marination, and Makhmali Seekh Kebab, I found it decent with spicy green chutney as it was very mildly spicy with a strong flavour of spices. But can you give a shot for this?

It's quite fascinating that American chop suey got served here as a starter. Crisp fried noodles are topped with a slight thick red hot gravy and chunks of pineapple in it. The chunks of pineapple were slightly bigger. But taste-wise, it was delicious. good for this weather.

From the mains, Shreekrishna Spl. Veg. is a must-try with two gravies on the plate: one is quite similar to methi mutter malai, and the other is red-based, which was slightly spicy but went well with any bread.

Soulful meal is Dal-Rice, hence I got my hands on dal tadka and jeera rice, which was totally awesome, hence you should give it a try. From the dessert, vanilla ice cream topped with chocolate sauce is how we ended up the meal.

Ambience and services, spacious and distant seating areas in both AC sections with high ceilings Service was prompt by attentive staff.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service provided by Shri Krishna Veg Court restaurant during my recent online order on 01st April 2024. I placed an order for a specific item but unfortunately received wrong item instead. This oversight was compounded by poor communication and a lack of accountability from restaurant manager and staff.

Upon receiving the incorrect order, I promptly called the restaurant to address the issue and request the correct item. However, I was met with unhelpful responses and was asked to come to the restaurant to pick up the correct order myself. This is unacceptable customer service, especially for a mistake made on your end.

As a customer the basic value expected is convenience and reliability when ordering online, however this experience fell far short of standards at Restaurants serving in nearby area. Not only was the wrong item delivered, but the subsequent handling of the situation was also disappointing and inconvenient.

I understand that mistakes can occur, but it is crucial for businesses to take ownership of their errors and ensure that customers are not inconvenienced further. But this restaurant is one of its own kind that loves repeating mistakes one after another. This is not my first horrible experience with this restaurant. I experienced this earlier as well but gave another chance assuming this could be a one of mistake but in vain. I just hope (though it is too optimistic to say that) that this feedback prompts improvements in the restaurant team's communication and order fulfillment processes to prevent similar incidents...

Good to excellent 4.5 ⭐..

Ambiance : Good vibes, clean tables & well arrangements on tables.. Also restaurant is very much accessible from pune banglore highway. 200 meters inside.. Good parking space on nearby roads. Check my photos and video for more..

Service : it's good nothing fancy.. But well mannered captain and waiters.. Got clean dishes.. And good knowledge of menu card to captain.. Just that AC area was close. In morning.. They said it will be available in evening.. But it is rainy season.. So it was quite airy..

Food : for staters i had veg hara bhara kabab.. (It's veg only restaurant) I missed my chicken🐓..

Main course paneer dishes were all good, just ask captain to about taste requirements he will suggest good option.. . Tripple Manchurian rice was good.. Without any red color.. Loved ❤ it.

Overall best. For 🥦🥕🌽 only person.

Delivery : super ordered multiple time always got on time without any issues, so no issue at all, also spot with delivery packing very clean not a single drop of oil spill.

Food: the best veg main course items, ordered paneer tikka, veg maharaja both were good.. Just spot on with the spices and the texture of gravy.. Good amout of paneer quantity.. Good for 3 people for sure. Value for money for sure 👍

Overall one of the go to restaurant for veg items.. One ⭐ star is less for now as I will do in person dine in review.
